To the owner God Bless you and your significant other.
I love the idea of disconnecting from the digital universe and living a common sense life where people are talking, chatting and smiling. Just like your back in the 80’s. Good times.
No Screens which is better for us and well being. God Bless for that.
I love your coffee shop and having local bands play here during the summer. That’s awesome supporting your locals and musicians like that.
I feel at home at your coffee shop.
Love the baked goods and Drinks you have.
Keep it up for the next generation. All coffee shops should be like this and follow your policies.
God Bless you, your employees and Customers who do a good service to all.

I’m not one to leave negative reviews on any business, but I was really taken aback by the owner’s rudeness. When I mentioned the lack of congruency between the description on yelp, which suggests that it’s a great place to bring laptops and the their no laptop policy expressed to me when I opened it at their establishment, his attitude was over the top. They are entitled to their policy, and I was happy to respect it, but I thought they might want to perhaps update yelp to reflect accurate information so people don’t drive there with the intention of doing some work, and the guy was belligerent and told me it’s not his problem because he doesn’t manage his yelp listing, and he was just condescending and rude after I spent $15 on a breakfast sandwich and a coffee at his establishment. For running a business that deals with the public, he certainly doesn’t know how to talk to people. He could be empathetic and offer a kind apology on the confusion, but I no longer felt welcome there. There are so many great local cafés with respectful people in the area. This one is a strong hard pass!
Wonderful little spot in the village. Great musicians play there, and local artists work on the walls.
When I moved to Pointe Claire in 2019 I went to this cafe every day, the paintings, the atmosphere, it's cozy and welcoming. What I miss? The quiche lorraine!
We would like to mention Jake (at the counter) was absolutely a wonderful person - he gave very pleasant service and was very helpful with our order.
Very courteous.
I journal and study with frie ds every sunday at different cafés, this is a nice little intimate place, food and coffee is alright. I had the chai latte and it tasted like coffee rather than chai, i had the turkey brie sandwich, it was ok, there was more lettuce than anything else. I also got a dessert and it was a little dry. Also, the place is rather small, better for groups of no more than 2-3 people.
Beautiful place nice people

= A Time Machine to Old Europe, Right in the Village =
Step through these doors and breathe in the whiff of Old Europe! This café isn't just serving coffee and pastries; it's serving time travel. No computers here – they weren't part of Old Europe, where people actually talked to each other over coffee and cake.
The espresso alone could make an Italian nonna weep with joy, and after your third shot, OMG, you'll swear you can smell the heavenly vastlakukkels, strudels and clotted cream... but the scones and lemon squares are already divine... and in winter, a hot bowl of soup warms both body and soul...
But it's not just food nor coffee, exceptional as it is. They also serve local art on the walls and live music on the weekends...
Sure, you can get everything to go – but why rush? Stay awhile and let the magic of Old World café culture make you young again.

If you don't wanna get upset like me almost every week get there in the morning to have a chance to have blueberry scones. They are amazing. I recently heard they are open till late as well during the week in the summer and my wife and I have ended our days in there for a few times.
