Waited 30 minutes for three rolls takeout. It was so hot inside that I had to wait outside while my partner waiting for the takeout. When we got the sushi, it looked spoiled and I didn’t risk eating that.

I often come to this Sushi Shop, and it feels like the owner has changed.
The store is cleaner and tidier. There used to be a trash can outside with a lot of debris, but now it has been emptied and there are plants and flowers at the door.
I used to only order takeout, but now I am willing to dine in because the atmosphere feels good.
Although the new owner is a little slow in serving food, she was very sincere and enthusiastic, and the food portions are also large.

Before this experience, I had barely eaten sushi. By chance, I visited this sushi shop last week. I was so impressed by the quality of the sushi, especially the spicy tuna and salmon rolls. The service was extremely warm and friendly. It completely changed my impression of sushi—now I love it!

My favorite of all the Sushi Shops! They always take good care to make the rolls with soy paper as we ask (as we don’t eat seaweed). They are friendly and efficient, and of course always delicious! Highly recommend. 😄

I’ve been here before with no issues but this time was… notably unacceptable. I came in to order one combo (did not call in advance). There were two people in front of me in line. It took 12-15 minutes to get through them. I overheard the staff say there overwhelmed (and a young child was working, perhaps someone’s son — he was really sweet and capable, I give a star rating of 11/10 for him, I could see he was concerned / overwhelmed but kept his composure and seemed very knowledgeable of the systems). Anyways I ordered one combo and it took 23 additional minutes to land. During this time the staff gave out a freebie to the customer right before who had been waiting a while, and a freebie upgrade to a family after me. I feel like this makes a lot of things right, but nothing was offered to me and I’d waited just as long if not longer, for much less.
The rice was very stuck together and the miso soup was a bit metallic/bland (I know miso has a unique taste — I love miso, I swear it was a little bit off).
Anyways I wish they’d tried to make things right in any sense for me too (give me a free spicy mayo, I don’t know?). Unfortunately I won’t be back. Joro Sushi is bomb, it’s down St Jean, I recommend it.

Order a package of shushi. It's very fresh, and tastes delicious. Had a wonderful Quebec day.
I ordered my sushi by phone for my party at home. The reception is very patient and nice. It did not take too long to deliver. Their sushis are very fresh and delicious. Definitely recommended.

Her service was excellent as always! But the new poke bowl is absolutely disgusting!!! I don’t know why they would change something that was so delicious…. Would never buy the poke bowl again unless they change it back to the old ones

Just went here. Ordered 100$ worth of sushi for lunch. There is 1 person working at the store. She told me it would take 30 minutes. I went next door to Indigo to kill time. I returned 30 min later waited 5 minutes for her to serve other customers....only for her to tell me she hadn't even started my order. She says do u want a refund and I say yes. No apologies nothing.....never ever going there again. Ruined my whole lunch hour.
