Sushi Hin is by far the best All you can eat sushi joint in Montreal! Every time we come here the food is fresh and flavourful, food comes out quickly and the service is excellent! I always recommend friends to come here. We stopped looking for new AYCE sushi places, sushi Hin is hit for us! I’m hooked I am a regular.

Highly worth the place, All you can eat and food was exquisite, only downside was the wonton soup which was bland but it might have been the exception, everything else was extremely tasty and light. Me and my party were very happy with the decision to try this restaurant. Service was extremely fast, some waiters were a bit silent and slow but with orders made by phone it wasn't an issue. The ambience in the local permits to have either a bright light or dimmed depending on availability and preference. Highly recommend if you are in the area

It was fine for an all you can eat. There was nothing spectacular, service was sometimes slow to deliver items, most were good but nothing to write home about. And a few items we wanted were sold out.

Ordered as a solo to the restaurant, ordered 8 dishes at the beginning and I got 1 dish at a time every 3 minutes? What? Ordered 14 dishes before the other order finished and same thing. Also, didn’t get all my dishes. I had closed the app by mistake. Asked the waiter what to do, so he said order what you like. I ordered 3 small dishes. Only 1 dish came in 25 minutes. Asked the waiter about it, he said oh one dish is sold out! Not very good either

How to Fall Out of Love with Sushi in One Day!
Our family of five fell in love with sushi thanks to this place. Years ago, this was the only spot we trusted whenever we wanted sushi. Under the original owner, the quality was excellent — always fresh and satisfying. The service wasn't great back then, but the food made up for it.
Unfortunately, things changed after the ownership did. The service has actually improved, but the food has gone downhill — and that’s what matters most.
We returned recently and paid nearly $300. What we received was shockingly disappointing. The sushi lacked freshness, tasted bland and monotonous, and we were served mostly end pieces — scraps, not full rolls. It felt careless, lazy, and not at all worth the price.
This was, without question, the worst sushi experience we've ever had. I spoke with the manager, but it was clear that this is no longer the place it once was. We won’t be coming back.
On top of that, the tip was charged based on the total after taxes — which violates the new Quebec consumer protection regulation that came into effect on May 8, 2025. Tips must now be calculated on the pre-tax amount. We will be filing a complaint with the Office de la protection du consommateur.
Update in response to the owner’s reply:
I have the original receipt from my visit on August 2, 2025, which clearly shows that the 18 % tip was calculated on the post-tax total rather than the pre-tax subtotal.
Receipt details for your reference:
Transaction #: 008148
Subtotal (pre-tax): 209.95 $
Taxes: TPS 10.50 $, TVQ 20.94 $
Total (after taxes): 241.39 $
Tip (18 %): 43.45 $ — calculated on the post-tax total of 241.39 $
Total charged: 284.84 $
Time: 19:55:00–19:56:31
For clarity, the actual per-person cost for our group of 5 was:
Base menu price: 41.99 $
After taxes: 48.28 $
After tip: 56.97 $
While the lunch menu may be listed as “~30 $ per person,” that does not reflect what customers are actually charged after taxes and tip.
It’s surprising that you claim you cannot find any trace of our visit, given that I spoke directly to the manager during our meal and now, I have provided the exact transaction number, time, and bill details above. This information should make it easy to locate in your records.

Restaurantji Recommends
It has become one of my favorite sushi all-you-can-eat buffet restaurants.
Fresh Sashimi is available for both lunch and dinner. A variety of sushi and dishes are available.
Service is consistently good. Food comes out generally fast.

I went there with low expectations, turned out one of the best sushi places in the West Island, if not the best. Lots of variety and a very rich hot meals menu too.

The tip is usually calculated BEFORE taxes, not after. They calculate the tip after taxes ... and you cannot change it on your own.

Came here a few weeks ago but tried another ayce sushi in the area and it really put into perspective how bad this place was.
Took asking for the bill three times for it to come and their nigiri rice had too much vinegar, cut my appetite overall in an all you can eat restaurant, not what I was expecting.
