Tommy’s is my partners and I go to breakfast place we come here often and get the same thing the cali Benedict every time and it has never disappointed till recently. The last two times our food was missing the pesto and the eggs were hard. However the most recent time my eggs were not runny and hard around the edges so they remade them and brought them back ever harder it was completely fully cooked .The third time they just replaced the eggs so I could swap them off and the eggs were barely even cooked to the point where when you cut the egg open water came out along with the yolk. I understand that sometimes things happen but for two separate time to have hard eggs and have to remake them 3 times to still not be good for a breakfast place is not great. Hoping the new owners can get things back on track.

The food is delightful, the waitresses are always so nice, however this particular location can’t seem to keep a steady management which is very clearly having an impact on the staff and the atmosphere. The managers are always no where to be found and clearly lack leadership, which is understandable because they seem more lost then the waitresses themselves. However will be coming back for the amazing costumer service of my girl Justine😝

Delightful café inside the mall at the food court. The food court is now where Sears used to be. The entrance is from the outside of the mall.
My Chai Lattte was the best I have anywhere. Delicious!
The hot chocolate, I am told, was Very, very good.
We have to come back to try the food.
Kid-friendliness: There is a whole food court, maybe do not disrupt the cool vibe with screaming crying kids.

I have always loved eating at Tommy Café! The food is excellent however the service has never been their strong suit (I think the waiters have no experience) I went back recently and we were told that the owners had changed (no alcoholic drinks / half the menu was not available due to a breakage) the very nice waiters on the other hand mentioned it to us later when our choices were made too bad... am I going to go back? maybe in another location

Gotta say, the only thing consistent about this place is how bad and slow the service is. It’s a bunch of kids running the kitchen just yapping. The servers/hostess just stare at you and won’t even check in. If you don’t ask for an update, you’ll probably just sit there waiting. And when you do, just a bunch of girls rolling their eyes lol. 50mins for a croissant sandwich is crazy! Plus, how long does it take to make eggs? It’s terrible all the time, and the food is just ok. The drinks are very bad and watered down as well, just get starbucks. Oh and the pastries are stale. Do yourself a favour and just go to Tims :)

While the food is well prepared and recipes are fantastic, this place has a major culture problem. Staff is young, inexperienced. As a result, they feel they are entitled to behave with contempt. I suspect it comes from the man who was reviewing reports at a table, who did not even bother to apologize when his staff dropped a glass of water on my father-in-law which then shattered at his feet. Not sure this place understands our expectations.

I saw one of the waitresses drop silverware on the ground and she still brought it to a table!!
Waiting for water took about 10 minutes after we sat. It easily was 20 minutes and still we didn’t have a coffee. When they finally brought it, it was the wrong order.
It was off-putting to wait so long and see the staff casually talking and appearing a little disorganized and confused. Maybe it was just a rush.
Food is pretty good but a little pricey and can definitely come with lackluster service.
The environment is fine but close to the mall entrance so cold air can come in where you’re sitting and the noise from the food court can be a little intrusive.
Kid-friendliness: Kids can come here with no problem.
Wheelchair accessibility: Difficult to navigate.

Shockingly long wait for incredibly mediocre food. Looks great from the outside but is all style over substance. You’re far better off in the food court.
