Probably worst dining experience i’ve ever had in a restaurant ever. Girl who seated us let us know food time wait would be about 30 mins. That’s fine and as i can understand what it’s like to be busy sometimes. Proceeded to wait close to an hour for a grilled cheese and poutine. Came barely warm, waiter went to 2 different tables with our food before I called him over. Put the plate down and had to stop the sandwich from falling off the plate and onto my lap. Asked for an upgrade fries with my meal, didn’t arrive either. My french isn’t the best but i was clear to point at everything on the menu. Proceeded to watch the same girl who seated us stuff her mouth with some food at the coffee station and lick her fingers 😭. Followed by rubbing her hands back into a service cloth. What looked like vomit in the bathroom sink! Didn’t want to stay around to find out. The Waiter came to check the table and ask if everything was okay, but after seeing the filth of the cook that came up to talk with one of the staff I decided i’d be safer staying quiet.

First of all the service was excellent. Unfortunately this is not the case with the meal. Everything is reheated, soft potato, sausage, bacon dry from being reheated. Apart from the crepe which stood out from this dish, nothing was wow! Paying $30 service included per person is really too expensive. It's a shame

Where to start. Ordered a smoothie and they brought out a smaller glass than every other smoothie glass in the whole restaurant. Asked them why and if there was less and they said that there was less and that all the glasses were dirty but they kept brining out other drinks in the regular glasses. They brought out another smoothie which was the correct smoothie that I asked for. The first smoothie I ordered wasn’t even the one I actually ordered. We asked for waters 3 separate times and never received any water at all. And then we get our food. Cold and the potatoes are way overdone and hard to eat. As well I got a breakfast bowl and had a long piece of plastic in it. We never got asked how our food was through the whole meal until the very end when paying. Would not recommend this place and will not be going back. The manager was nice enough to give discounts and free smoothies.

Great breakfast experience at Pont Rouge!!!!! Beautiful ambience, warm service from the staff and delicious breakfast. Friendly atmosphere from everyone inspite of us not knowing to speak French. They communicated in English politely acknowledging our lack of French skills!!!

50 minutes of waiting without having received lunch should warn the waitress who has very long hair and who plays with it it's disgusting. Do not recommend this restaurant 🤢

Very disappointing! Having the waitress say I don't know when the plates will be ready after 50 minutes for eggs and toast. In addition, the waitress continually played with her hair and touched other customers' plates🤮.

If it was just me there wouldn't even be a star! First and last time, we should have believed the Google reviews that would have saved us from losing 1:30 of our lives. After an hour of waiting, we started asking around and some who had already been there for 2 hours had still not been served. When our waiter finally passes by we ask him if there will be any left for long, he assures us that no "there the plates will come out.." 20 minutes later he comes back to see us to tell us that oh unfortunately the kitchen never received our order! Why notify us, instead of just replaying it and trying to catch up?
We left after waiting 1:30 with nothing other than glasses of water.. rarely had worse service

Very disappointed, this is not my first experience in this banner which is at the top in my eyes.
To start, the kitchen: everything is overcooked or undercooked. My partner had a waffle, not cooked to the point of having the raw mixture in the center. Burnt sausages, rock-hard bacon and black potatoes, plus cold homemade potatoes. I look at my plate again only to be told "you're right, it was very cold". How do I take it? Did you taste it and gave me my plate back? Am I a liar? Weird. I'm disappointed.
Then the service, non-existent. No coffee refills, no one comes to see if everything is okay. But the staff has time to chat behind the bar. No mutual help, it's a shame.
It ended that I got up to pay and left.
Take this comment as an improvement, some adjustment to be made in terms of cooking and mutual assistance in service and it should work.

This wasn't our first experience and every time we went everything was cold. For example, we went this morning and we specified when ordering that we wanted the plates very hot and we received them cold! While we were eating, the waitress came to ask us if everything was okay and I told her that the plates were cold. She simply replied "ok" and turned around as if nothing had happened. In short, it's a disappointing experience because it's a beautiful menu and it's good.
