Food is terrible! Fries were old and cold The server didn’t really care ! I will not return for sure- no pride 🤨

The hostess and waitress were not happy to work. No smiles when customers arrived. Lack of beer and yes and beef.

Archibald was a great find for us (we ended up going several times). Both times I ordered the onion soup and archibald burger. My mom ordered the shepherds pie. Everything was really tasty! The original cider was so crisp and refreshing! Our server was very friendly and remembered us. Definitely recommend! There were 2 of us and we were seated promptly each time. We did notice even with larger parties (we saw one of 7) they were seated relatively fast, however the restaurant does fill up so reservations are probably best for larger parties.

This is totally a place to avoid. Beer order with response that they don't have.

No poutine, no specialty burger (no more chicken) and no more mistakes in the drinks and in the food service.

We came all the way from New York to Quebec City with this restaurant on our itinerary.We were only in Quebec for a short time and LOU made sure we had an amazing time at the restaurant. He made the entire experience worth the trip. Lou was attentive and kind and lead with a genuine compassion that made us feel so welcomed. Thank you again Lou, you helped make our trip.. memorable.

I ordered a vegetarian goat cheese burger but they brought me a meatball!! They swapped it for a vegetarian meatball, but it took quite a while and the rest of the family had finished eating when it arrived. No compensation was offered...

Hello, I had reserved for 8 people it was a Christmas dinner with friends, asking to be located near the fireplace, we were 8 adults aged 60, we were placed on the high benches which were not very comfortable instead of the armchairs or chairs we were opposite the front door we received the fresh air currents. For the Christmas atmosphere we would have liked the fireplace to be lit and the servers a little more festive. For the service it's funny to say but too fast, we had received our consumption our main course arrived at the same time, two people in the group had their starter at the same time as our main courses. We weren't in a hurry, we probably could have consumed more drinks. For the waitress good service.

Group reservation canceled 4 hours before the event in the middle of December.

We had reservations for 15 people several weeks in advance for our work team Christmas party and 4 hours before the event, the Archibald Champlain team called us to inform us that we could no longer hold our planned event at the end of the day, because another group had also booked and it was ultimately impossible for us to be there too. Some team members had already traveled 4 hours for the holiday festivities. It's not easy to find space with less than 4 hours' notice on a Friday in mid-December for 15 people.

Food was great, nice and comfortable atmosphere. Very nice staff, however waiter was all alone, with made service slow. Add an extra waiter and you got 5-star all around.

Parking: Not much place to park without paying. Are is really made for tourists starting at close by hotels.
