We stopped in for breakfast before work and the service and food were both phenomenal. I had the Classic Breakfast with one egg, bacon, potatoes, toast, and a small crepe. The bacon was crispy just the way I like it, the potatoes were well seasoned, and the crepe was such a nice touch and so delicate, yet rich in flavor. Has to be one of the best crepes I ever had! They also have an extensive crepe selection if you want to order a larger sized one that’s either sweet or savory.
My colleagues split the “La Fernande” which was a massive crepe with eggs, Parisian ham, and your choice of a vegetable, all stuffed inside and covered in hollandaise sauce. They got the mushrooms and said it was really good.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a great breakfast spot exuding the charm of Quebec City.

Some say I am a fan of onion soup. My grandfather’s favourite soup was onion soup and my palate has graced many onion-infused meals in a long and fulfilling onion soup-filled life. I can confidently say, therefore, that Au Petit Coin Breton quite simply has the best onion soup. Better than the soups I’ve had in the Savoie region of France. Most magnificent.

The cozy ambiance of the restaurant, paired with the warm and welcoming staff, made us feel right at home. Watching the chef prepare our crepes was so much fun.
Be sure to try out the the Crepe Fernande, French Onion Soup, and the Crepe Suzette. Each dish was a real masterpiece, bursting with flavour!!!

We had the most wonderful experience here! We had two small toddlers with us and were accommodated with such kindness. They made room for our larger party of 6 and even noticed my youngest was cranky and brought over some freshly sliced fruit to cheer her up while we waited for our order.
