We were so excited for this place since it had great reviews and was at Relais and Chateāux property. They seated us in this lovely little corner next to a fireplace, but then forgot us basically. After about 45 minutes I went to find someone to take our drink order. After a while they brought us a cocktail and nothing else for basically an hour. Finally after about an hour and 15 minutes and after 3 different servers peaked around the corner looking at our table wondering why...
Went for afternoon tea to try something different. Food was good but the service wasn’t as good. We are not tea drinker and we were asking the server to help us pick the best tea based on our preference and they honestly had no clue; they were just reading us the menu. Then the tea arrived and they didn’t tell us how many minutes we had to wait before drinking it. The teas were not really good; but that might just be because we pretty much ended up picking them up randomly...
Service was super slow and the staff were disorganized and taking it too easy while in a what seemed to be a busy time
We came for cocktails - had one round w oysters - that was great. Cancelled our second cocktail bc service was too slow. We sat there watching servers just chatting away behind the bar. Our server was sweet and was just helping out - felt bad for her. We were likely their easiest table given we didn’t eat dinner.
