I was visiting the city and came here a couple times during the weekend at night. It's a really chill and local gay-friendly bar with a relaxed vibe. Nice people all around and the bartender was a really nice guy. Definitely worth a visit.
Plentiful seating, helpful staff, cold beer and it tasted great!

Not a flashy or fancy bar, its a neighborhood place with plenty of locals. We visit remembering that we are guests in someone else’s house and have appreciated the welcome that we have received and most of the people that we have met. It IS unfortunate that they take cash only. It probably slows the staff down a little but c’est comme ça so “when in Rome…” As États-Uniens we always make sure that we order enough $ Ca at our home bank for just such situations before we head to Québec. We’ve enjoyed slower nights at this bar just because it’s given us more of the opportunity to speak with the bartender and other clients and have a laugh. Merci comme toujours Bar St-M et nous attendons avec impatience notre prochaine visite.

Visiting from the UK, Bartender was polite and very friendly, reasonable price for the beers... Reminded me of the New Penny bar back in the UK.
Was quiet, it was a Sunday afternoon but was a fun experience.
Visit this place with an open mind.
If you are not local, please don't come to this place. The bartenders took advantage of the foreigners. The sale ticket said a total amount, but the bartender doubled the amount. When you claimed the reason why, he just took another 2 Canadian dollar without explanation. The owner of this place have to be careful, probably the bartender is stolen money and they don't know. Besides that he included without request 2 adicional Canadian dollars per person per drink as a TIP without permission. The place is nice but the customer service is a total CERO. The crowd, old people!!! Really bad situation for the LGBT community, because this is one of the only 2 gay bars in Quebec. Today is my first day of 7 in the city I'll never come back to this bar again.

Best small, family-friendly and warm bar in Quebec City. You will find superb Drag Queen shows there! Each of them has enormous talent and will also give you an evening of comedy. Excellent service at the bar with fast and courteous staff. Go there, you won't be disappointed if you're looking to spend a great evening filled with humor and entertainment!Entry is also free and the price of drinks is normal ??
Parking: There is free parking right next to the bar for around twenty vehicles obviously you have to arrive early (9:30 a.m.-10 a.m.) to get a space??

Overall, disappointed. They don’t take card but the atm was broken. I had to OVERPAY in America dollars, and didnt receive proper change. Clientele average age was 70 and smelled like cigarettes. Would not recommend or go back

Bad bartender
Excellent cartier pub, with LGBT clientele, but also regular bi-curious. The staff is friendly, the prices generally good, not as exaggerated as elsewhere. Lots of poker machines, a pool table, a pay jukebox. ,Saturday evenings of flirting shows. It's a bar that respects its opening hours (3:00 a.m.) 7 days a week, entry price: $0.00
Parking: A city paid parking lot is nearby. (daytime only)
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

Damn! What's up with the waiters demanding for tips before you take a sip of your beer. I was with my girl last Friday and we decided to try out this joint. The atmosphere was great until we got our order 30 minutes later and the waiter didn't even say a word, all they wanted was a tip.I'm never stepping foot again, what happened to customer service and courtesy?
