Amazing how a place can feel so much like home while also offering some of the best food we’ve ever had. Fantastic service, wine selection and ambience! We’ve been in Quebec for a couple weeks and have tried a couple dozen restaurants and this one came out on top. Make a reservation here, you won’t regret it!

We started with burrata as a starter, followed by mussels and sea stew as main courses, which we also shared. Everything was delicious, with fine and well-balanced flavors.
The service was excellent: the staff were attentive, friendly, and we were made to feel very welcome. Everything about this experience, from the food to the service, was impeccable. A restaurant to absolutely try!

The service is very poor. You may be treated as a poor person when you eat jeudi cieux. The seats are arranged at the door. The white light outside is so bright that it blinds you. They don't even want to explain the dishes carefully. I was in a hurry to leave for 2,580,000 yuan. The food is actually not very tasty. I think it's too sweet and the meat is a little too spicy. If you have to choose between this restaurant and 1640, just go to 1640. The service is excellent and the food is better. The male waiters are luckily more polite, but the female ones are really not. The quality of red wine is also poor, very watery, and the impurities in it are not filtered. The white wine is okay, it is the most basic, but it does not have any fruity aroma. The overall experience is quite poor at this price, I really don’t recommend it.

Bistro St.Malo is a gem of a restaurant with an inviting, family-style atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. We enjoyed the beef cheek, slow-cooked sous-vide for over 30 hours, and the duck confit—both were extraordinary. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender with deep, rich flavors, while the duck was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
The warm ambiance and attentive service tied everything together for an exceptional dining experience. A must-visit for anyone who loves incredible food in a cozy, welcoming setting! Will definitely come back.

Very good food, outstanding atmosphere and service.
I loved this little spot. They have all you can mussels on Wednesday night, which was a great surprise. Our server, megan, was great! Owned by two chefs. The chicken was so so so good, almost sweet. However, I would skip the tartare next time. It was a bit fishy for me. The only “complaint” I can think of. Would love to visit again!
