Nice little ocean vibe. The bright blue color of the walls added a little character. Definitely good location, I would have thought it was a tourist trap, but the prices were decent. The fish n chips were good, but the tab was hot-lukewarm, and the tarragon sauce had little flavor. These are classic dishes, but I was expecting a menu with ++ dishes. But the menu was uniform in style. The server was on the mark. The wine was well explained to us and recommended with our dishes.

A disastrous experience from start to finish
It's hard to imagine a worse meal. From the starters, it was carnage: the fried squid were so salty that they were inedible. A real attack on the palate.
“Two mustard” mussels? A joke. Served in a kind of tasteless and lumpy béchamel sauce, they left for the kitchen as quickly as they arrived. In exchange, I was served an arrabiata sauce, only slightly better... probably because it came straight from a jar of low-end commercial sauce.
My partner's fish and chips were ridiculously small, and the accompanying coleslaw was neither fresh nor edible, with a rancid taste bordering on questionable.
On my sister's side, the coconut shrimp were a total failure: bland frozen food, without any interest. His partner ordered a bitten salad… which should have been renamed “salt salad”, as it was so excessively seasoned. He couldn't even finish it.
At no time has a dish managed to make up for this culinary disaster. A disaster from start to finish.
The only thing to save from this experience: a friendly and professional waiter, who unfortunately does not have the power to make this cuisine acceptable.
Avoid at all costs.

Simple cuisine, but with good ingredients. Fast and attentive service. But what a disappointment when it came time to add it!!! A waitress who brings the bill and immediately asks for her tips!!! Looking down on us, don't forget that the tip is not included and that it is a minimum of 15%!!! We are used to traveling and coming to Quebec... but we know that we will not return to this restaurant. All work deserves pay, she received her 15% tip... have a good evening? THANKS ??? So, to the wise, this is how this waitress treats customers and tourists.

It was a frustrating experience, despite being a Canadian born Black man, I experienced outright prejudice against myself, as well as my friends/family that are new to Canada, and Quebec. This was their first exposure to French culture, and were met with discrimination due to speaking English, from a black woman at that.
We waited almost 2 hours for our food, the portion sizes were abysmal; I was served 8 pieces of ravioli. We were refused water. Our sides never arrived. It was pretty apparent that our table was the only receiving this treatment as far as we could see, as others had full cups and plates.
The host was the single redeeming quality the restaurant had, he did what he could to meditate the situation despite not having a manager on site on Christmas Eve.

We love the decor, the atmosphere, the music and the service. As for the food, the experience is different depending on what you have. My partner and I have never tasted anything worse than mussels with coconut milk, squash and coriander, to the point where we couldn't couldn't eat them (our server was uncomfortable and offered us dessert). If I were the owner I would simply remove it from the menu. That said, the Fish & Chips are good, the little ones. lunches are very very good and the service is excellent!

We were a group of 7 people and the table was reserved at 6:30 p.m. on a Saturday evening and there were very few people. When we sat down ik had a delay of 20 minutes before a waiter came to take our drinks and serve us water. When we finally had a waiter he took our orders with great difficulty he didn't know his menu, but to our greatest surprise we all repeated twice what we were ordering. After 30 minutes a waiter came to serve a glass of water and I remind you there were 7 people then an endless wait. 20 minutes later he came to bring our dink. For 1 hour and 10 minutes no waiter came to see us to apologize or to say that there was a problem in the kitchen. At the same time the next table and who arrived after us had time to eat their meal. So we decided to leave and eat elsewhere. A total of 1h40 seated with no service
