I don’t recommend this place at all it was awful service and coffee was so bad and I recommend to go find another coffe shop that have a better experience and service. We’re visiting Quebec city me and my friend all the way from Ottawa/Gatineau and we’re searching for a coffee place which we can enjoy but I don’t recommend this place at all as I had a bad experience at this place with the service as the guy with a long hair who was serving was so rude and was yelling on us because there was a misunderstanding in the order you can’t treat a customer like that.

Let’s face it. Finding a great espresso this side of the ocean is a hit or miss proposition. Café Montcalm can be considered in the top tier of Quebec City offering. You must try it. The barista here know what to do. And with a smile!

Wow. What an amazing location. The tea and chocolate cake were pricy but delectable. The staff were so kind. The atmosphere chill and inviting. Easy way to relax and kill an hour or two.

My favourite place in Quebec City, love the environment 🥰
I liked their coffee. Got a Costa Rican drip with a couple of espresso shots. Strong, tasty, but not bitter. Friendly staff in a nice setting.
Service was poor and the coffee was bad.
