On our two last visits, service was excruciatingly slow. Several people left the restaurant before being able to order. The food was excellent and portions generous, but that could not make up for the extremely slow service. I finished a pint of beer before the food came, and I sip, I don't drink. You need to hire one more person.

We went to Brynds because my husband not only loves smoked meat but he smokes it himself at home on Cape Cod. I ended up loving Brynds too because of their smoked meat salad and incredibly kind staff. I wanted a coffee with Bailey’s, which was offered on their menu. The owner?/manager? told me, “If I don’t have it, I will get it” and it did exactly that. He went down the street to buy Bailey’s so he could fulfill my request. That’s the kind of service you don’t forget. When we left, I commented to our waiter that I appreciated the Bailey’s, he said “we love to spoil our clients”. We have already been back again and will squeeze in a few more visits before we leave Quebec at the end of the month.

I came from Montreal and didn’t know where to eat. Some locals recommended this smoked meat spot. I usually never eat smoked meat but apparently i had to try it. I went in and took their classic sandwich and boy was it delicious. Staff was amazing and professional and so was the vibes. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in Qc city.

Their smoked meat is juicy, the homemade mayonnaise is delicious and the coleslaw...wow. Just creamy enough, just vinegary enough. And fried pickles?! Crispy, tasty, a pure joy to share (or not 😉). I go there several times a year and I'm never disappointed! I recommend!! 💯
