Very charming and (surprisingly) not so busy breakfast spot! The food itself was excellent, great portions, and high quality. The staff was very friendly and courteous in both English and French and their service was very fast. We loved the decor and feel of the interior as well!

The atmosphere is just fantastic!. Old Quebec/French feeling. The food choice is overwhelming. We had a steak tartar and braised beef cheeks. Reasonably proced.

We tried both the vegetarian and chicken burgers — and they were absolutely delicious. The veggie burger was fresh and flavorful, paired perfectly with a crisp side salad, while the chicken burger was crispy, juicy, and came with some of the best fries we’ve had in a while. Service was warm and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere made for a great dining experience. Highly recommend!

It is also one of the best brunch spots in the vicinity - highly recommend to reserve in advance especially during weekends.

They served a great English breakfast, too much food really, but that's the way it was done last year in Rye, England. At this moment and maybe a few weeks hence there is some street construction work just outside, but the outdoor tables are away from the noise.

Our group came here for breakfast and were very pleased! Quiet and pleasant atmosphere with quick service and delicious food! The crepes were incredible. And every plate comes with a little smoothie!

Nicely done food and service for breakfast. Salmon omelette was very good. Vegetable omelette was good. Liked the breakfast meal deal of smoothie and coffee included. No gluten free bread, but otherwise a good selection.

Wow! This was the best breakfast spot I have ever eaten at. It had provided so much like free coffee with the meal AND a 100ml of complimentary smoothie. Definitely a must if you’re walking to old Quebec and need a filling and very yummy breakfast. Also the crepes were the BEST I have ever had. They were truly incredible I was honestly just so impressed. I was in old Quebec and ate at le buche (one of the best rated breakfast places in old Quebec) and it was such a little portion for the price and the food was not my favourite as it left me very hungry at the end. Le bonnet d’Âne should be at the top of breakfast spots for sure!

Attentive service, and the complimentary coffee and small smoothie with your meal was such a nice touch! Would recommend the chocolate banana crêpes and omelettes! The inside was inviting and atmosphere was lovely.
