Café - Pizzéria La Maison Smith Charlesbourg

Excellent bakery and coffee shop with irresistible pastries and a perfectly brewed cup every time—it's the kind of place that draws you in for the flavors alone. However, the service left much to be desired: one staff member accidentally spilled coffee all over my friend's handbag, yet offered no apology or assistance to clean it up, simply continuing to mop the floor as if nothing happened. A little empathy goes a long way; otherwise, this spot has serious potential!

One of my best places in quebec city.
It has a nice terrace for sunny days, and inside there are three spaces. One where u can study, one for the restaurant and one for the café. They have multiple delicious choices. The coffee is warm and cozy. You can go as a couple, family, or by yourself.

Je viens d'entrer le Café couvert en timbres de douleur. J'ai dis a serveuse que je ne peux pas avoir beaucoup de caféine a cause de la chirurgie recente. Le serveuse m'a servi un grand quantité de caféine et n'etait pas gentille quand je l'ai demandé de le refaire. Aussi, La casière essayer de me vendre une cafe plus chère, avec le syrup de vanille quand j'ai besoin le cafe plus simple que possible. Je viens ici de temps en temps et trouve que, comme presque touts les Cafe Smith, les serveuses simplement essayer de vendre les choses plus chères que possible et de faire son travail plus vite que possible. Les patisseries sont toutes gélées, donc ils les rechauffent, mais il reste froid quand ils sortent de micro-ondes et les serveuse ne sont pas gentilles si tu demandes un rechauffement encore. La service très mauvaise. (Pardon mon français).

Always great service! The girls are nice and it’s one of the rare places where you see that all the staff have a smile while working. They really seem to love their work and it creates a great atmosphere! I always get the Explorer smoothie and the texture of their smoothies is my favorite out of all the different restaurants selling smoothies☺️

There is no denying that the place shines with its decor which wonderfully combines the old and the very modern. With a restoration that renovates the old house, everything remains just enough detailed in its architecture without being too much.

The service is welcoming, smiling and fun. It always feels good to feel treated like a human ^_^

I recommend the vegan pancake, which fills a good spot for a long time. Otherwise, their coffee bean “Le tour de l’île” charms with its notes of caramel and milk chocolate.

I'm happy that such a banner exists so close to my home ^_^
