Ashton is one of the original restaurant who popularized the classic Québécois dish the “Poutine” in 1969! Since then, the chain sold its rights in 2022 but the tasty poutine remains the same if not better. I tried their Poutine that won in 2024 the famous country wide competition called “Poutine Week” and it was fantastically delicious 🤤!! It was called “La Rosbif Bacon Chipotle “. I highly recommend you try it. The service inside on busy hours is slow, so better be patient but the staff were really nice, polite and friendly. The drive-thru is usually fast except on busy eating hours which is normal. This location is freshly renovated to the new owners tastes all while keeping the atmosphere of the original Ashton restaurant which is a nice touch. A bit more pricey compared to other fast food poutine restaurants. Very clean, airy and lots of seating capacity. GOOD JOB 👏🏻

Honestly really disappointed! We ordered a sandwich with extra house sauce, there was little sauce. We also paid for extra bbq sauce, no sauce in the poutine. A galvaude baby poutine costs $7.50 but no cheese included, an extra of $4.50 more. A poutine includes fries, sauce and cheese. You should call it a fries with galvaude sauce.

If I had the means, I would have eaten more!! I bought cases of sausages when I had a party! 🤫 For several years Ashton has disappointed me. Has it lost flavor or have I lost my sense of taste?? But in short, I had bad experiences and I abandoned my favorite restaurants 😭

I arrive at Ashton after a particularly difficult day and tell myself we're going to eat something delicious
I arrive at the drive-thru I take my order I have a perfect welcome the order is taken quickly and without hassle
What follows, however, is unacceptable and even unbelievable.
When we go to the Ashton drive-thru when we get to the window where we pay and receive our order when the window opens it smells like heaven! An overwhelming and comforting smell of fried food that makes us dream of our order which will arrive shortly! 😀🤤

I understand sometimes some people have illnesses or take medication and give off a particular smell and that is perfectly understandable.
But we are not there We are at the primary stage of working in public, so we wash and put on antiperspirant or deodorant.
We're having a big day, that's okay. We take 4 minutes, go to the toilet, use a little washcloth, put some deodorant back on and continue. It's called respect for others Both colleague and customer will be appreciated this small gesture
Finally I pay, wait and receive my order :) I leave there and leave my windows down to air out the smell of sweat that came out the window! The expression it smells so much that it tastes, that’s what’s happening 😡😡
