A meal to share, sole with gnocchi on the side, without gnocchi, for $125, it's too expensive. The service was very long and lacked explanations. We arrived at 8pm for our reservation, and no one showed up at our table until 8:20pm, really ordinary for the price!

Just got an email that my reservation two weeks from now is cancelled because they decided to be closed on Tuesday. Left me stranded after planning my trip to QC. À la poubelle.

Ridiculement et honteusement cher pour ce que l’on nous a servi ! Dommage… à 350$ pour 2, et acheter à grignoter en sortant !

Very good but not exquisite food for this price point, but definitely excellent for Canada and Quebec City. Some dishes are perfect and standouts, other dishes are not. You will notice the difference between them. Note that the desserts are mostly set to Quebec/American sweetness level, so caution if you're a European who prefers the lower end of the brix scale. The team tries to do a lot of experimental things but some don't work as well as others, hence some of the tastiness variance.Overall, well worth a visit, especially if you're staying at the hotel. Service generally very good, but some nights (and breakfasts) can be a little crowded and the service suffers a bit.The hotel breakfast (both the chef plates and the buffet) is well worth the upcharge. Only marginally more than a breakfast outside and the ingredients, service, and atmosphere are vastly better.Image with placemat is before breakfast, other images are the prix fix dinner with lamb as a mainDietary restrictions: They ask.Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator inside, but you may need assistance from the curb.

Though we did not dine at Chez Muffy (so I cannot comment on their food), they charged us $100CAN cancel fee for canceling a reservation, even though we cancelled more than 24hrs in advance. We called to cancel at around 3:00pm the day before our reservation for dinner at 6:30pm the next day...approximately 27 hrs in advance. I fully understand charging a no show fee or a late cancel fee ie. same day, but seriously? $100CAN when canceling more than 24hrs in advance is egregious! BEWARE

This was our first trip to Quebec City. We stayed at the remarkable Auberge Saint Antoine and Cafe Muffy is their lead restaurant. What a delight. Breakfast each morning was lavish and superb. Sitting by the fireplace in a timber & stone interior eating such beautifully prepared food was a treat. It was only matched by the evening meal we had on our final night. Our meal included the "Québec venaison in clay crust" because why not? And if not now, then when?We could have made better wine selections, but that is the smallest of hiccups in a truly great evening. You will not be disappointed.

For the 3-course menu, I had the duck tartare & pan fried foie gras for starter, and the Quebec deer in clay crust for main course. While both required a supplement, it was pretty worthwhile given the size of the serving fod foie gras and deer meat. It was also interesting to watch the waiter break open the clay in which the deer meat was baked. As for dessert, the mer et montagnes chocolate was good too. Being located in a maritime warehouse dating from 1822, the restaurant has a wonderful setting (think stone walls and wooden beams), with a fireplace which was lovely in winter.

Celebrated our 20th anniversary here. Friendly staff, had a little card prepared for us- nice gesture. Service was attentive but stiff. Ambience is nice but restaurant was empty. Impressive selection of wine. 2 couples were finishing up their meal and then we were alone. Now about food...I think this is by far the worst fine dining experience I had in my life. I never actually experienced anything like that before and I am not a newbie to that kind of culinary experience. Very artful presentation of food but none of the flavors or textures worked. There was not a single dish from appetizer to desert that I could say was even close to good or enjoyable. The best part of expensive dinner was sourdough bread and butter. I am dumbfounded by many glorious reviews and by the experience itself. I included some pictures of artfully presented but highly disappointing food. Anniversary dinner fiasco. Do not recommend.
