It was for a friend's soup the atmosphere was really pleasant when we arrived we could already feel the love that had in the kitchen it smelled of smoked bacon my mouth was watering and throughout the evening of 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. there was a constant food service that was so full that I had to bring my dish home, it's an experience to live and relive!

Even though he's usually closed on Tuesdays, Jim opened the restaurant especially for us. We contacted him beforehand to ask for a table and to tell him what sort of dish we feel like.This is a must if you'd like to eat at this restaurant! It really felt like eating at a family member's house, but then one where your uncle is a awesome chef =) The food was great, Jim is very nice and hospitable and he really went out of his way to make sure we felt at home and that we had zero space left in our stomachs afterwards. All in all this evening is a great memory of our visit to Quebec City and Jim's restaurant is a must visit if you're able to and looking for an amazing dining experience.

Very nice ?? family-style kitchen-style restaurant, book in advance, the owner and chef will carefully prepare appetizer salads and drinks for you. J’y suis allez une seule fois et j’ai hâte d’y retourner ! Tonton est un vrai chef et ses assiettes sont gigantesques !!! Mangez pas de la journée ? il va vous remplir assurément ! Il prend même les demandes spéciales si vous en avez. Hésitez pas , même si à première vu ça n’a l’air de « rien » vous ne serai pas déçu !!! One love !

This place is a MUST GO.Now here’s the things, when we went there it was close to the closing time, so we had to go and come back in 15 mints, people usually call before they go. Please check the photos and choose a theme of what you wanna eat or what you are craving for.There is no sign of the restaurant outside, so just walk in. À cinq personnes, elles ont ramené plus de 10 plats de restants, pour avoir payé... quoi, 18$ à 30$ chacune si je ne me trompe pas? J'ai eu les restants de ma femme et d'une autre. 6 plats. Du grio (que j'espérais vraiment essayer), une cuisse de poulet, des ribs, des nachos, beaucoup de riz et un bout de gâteau. En tout, il y avait des restants pour 7 repas pour 1 personne. J'ai tellement aimé, je tenais absolument à écrire cette review pour dire merci. C'était si bon, même réchauffé (au four, pas au micro-ondes) et j'ai suivi le conseil pour les ribs avec la sauce bbq.
