Restaurant Chez Victor (St-Paul)

The restaurant had a great atmosphere, however this is about where my compliments end. I ordered the buffalo chicken burger. This burger had far too much chicken so it was difficult to eat and it would fall apart, the chicken was also cold which is less than ideal. The fries were hardly seasoned and seemed to go on forever (which is great if you are a bland fry enthusiast). The lemonade was an interesting flavour and quite strong, but not bad. Would not recommend, however you may have a better experience if you order something else, or are in a better mood than I was after a 3 hour train from Montréal.

This is a great spot with clearly labeled options. We had popcorn tofu, the vegan burger and vegan poutine, all of which were fantastic. The location is a bit strange inside a corporate building, but the patio overlooks a beautiful park! Highly recommend!

Food was okay but the server added a tip (%15?) before handing me the payment machine which I found odd. It appeared on the screen after I paid.

I don't think it's worth it if you're looking for somewhere to eat around the old city though there are some options for vegans.

The burgers were the most unusual and interesting we’ve ever had. Most importantly, they were excellent. The wait staff were great and we were so happy the hotel concierge recommended it.

Food was amazing. Server barely came to our table, no water for 10 minutes and had to find her at the bar for ketchup. Overall she wasn’t friendly when she was at our table. It wasn’t a busy night either. However, the food was amazing and made up for the service.

Our waiter was kind and the burger was absolutely incredible. Great portion sizes and the prices are great for the quality of the food. I highly recommend!

We were a group of 4 and two of us ate the vegan alternatives. In any case, the food was excellent and we received very good service. I recommend to everyone!

Vegetarian options: I loved the breaded tofu bites as a starter.
For the burgers I preferred the buffalo tofu veganator, because I found that the tofu in the burger lacked flavor. However, both options were very good and brought different flavors. In addition, their vegan poutine is one of the best vegan poutines I have eaten. Delicious and offers options to please all tastes!

Below mediocre. The fries were inedible for my taste. If you’ve tried authentic (Belgian) French fries - you’d understand my point. Burgers - also rather unimpressive. Not many sauce options. The waitress forgot almost everything we ordered, repeatedly, which wouldn’t have bothered me if the food was decent enough.
