I ordered two Tonkatsu ramen and one seafood ramen through Uber. The app clearly said I would receive free Dragon Eyes rolls, but they were missing from my order.
On top of that, the Tonkatsu ramen was missing the eggs.
I called the restaurant to ask about it, and the person who answered literally said “I don’t know.” That response is completely unacceptable and extremely irresponsible. How can a restaurant not know what they send out to customers?
This was a frustrating and disappointing experience from start to finish. I paid full price and did not receive what I ordered or what was promised, strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant.
Nice ramen spot. Good atmosphere and service to match. We had an assortment of dishes and enjoyed them all. The prices are also very competitive for the quality of food, service, and atmosphere in QC. I would highly reccomend to anyone wanting a nice dinner at a very reasonable price point.

i got spicy miso ramen with chicken and thought it was disgusting. could be your vibe, certainly not mine. i didn’t even attempt to eat it after 3 or so bites. it was so spicy you couldn’t taste anything else and our waitress didn’t refill our waters the whole time we were there whilst my friend was crying from how spicy her bowl was. after not checking in on us once, we finally finish our meals and asks for the bill. our waitress sees my bowl which looks somehow fuller than when i got it doesn’t ask a single question about it. not why i didn’t like it, did i want to pack it for takeaway, i don’t expect to be compensated but i would’ve liked to have been give the chance to have a better meal

Ordered spicy miso ramen. Tasted good since it was first meal in Quebec City after long flight.

Okay food, bad service.
Place had the potential to be really cool. Once sat, despite being one of three tables in the restaurant, it took about half an hour to come see us to take our order. From the time we were given our food, we didn't see another server again. We had to go to the front and tell them we were leaving to get our bill. Asked for chili oil twice, never got it.
Food was okay, nothing special. Broth was more meaty than miso-y. Meat was overcooked.

Not the greatest ramen I have had. Broth tasted like they dumped a bunch soy sauce. Atmosphere is quaint.

We recently visited Chika Ramen Izakaya in Quebec City and had a generally pleasant experience, though with some mixed impressions. It's located in one of the most vibrant streets in Quebec city known for its great food options. The atmosphere stood out right away, with a cozy and stylish vibe that made it a lovely spot to enjoy a meal. The staff were also warm and friendly, which added to the welcoming environment.
When it came to the food, the portions were generous and satisfying, but the dishes themselves felt fairly average. While everything was decent, I found the flavours lacked a certain freshness and the unique touch that can elevate a ramen or izakaya experience. It felt more like standard fare rather than something carefully crafted by the chef.
One thing worth noting is accessibility. The restaurant is located half a level below street level, so you need to walk down a few stairs to enter. This makes it difficult for anyone using a wheelchair or with mobility concerns.
Overall, Chika Ramen Izakaya is a pleasant place to spend an evening, thanks to its ambiance and friendly service, but the food leaves room for improvement. A solid four stars.

Food was fine, but the service was disappointing. When we asked questions in English, the server struggled to answer and staff at the counter laughed, making us feel unwelcome as tourists

Our first time. When we got in there was no one to greet us and had to sit by ourselves. There was only three staff and it took a while before anyone came to take our order. To received our food it took even longer. Our meal didn't come all together so only one persons meal arrive while the other had to watch the other eat. There was a japanese client sitting next to us and left after eating half of their food. From the lady it looked like it wasnt that good. I believed them since their from Japan. Other just couldnt wait and left. As for our food I ate better in any Japanese restaurant. Another thing we notice that when customer left a lot of tables were left with their food still on the table. A lot of tables werent been clean off.

Please don’t come here! Their ramen is so disappointing the chicken was extremely dry and the broth was very off putting. The seating options are inside what feels like a dark basement and outside on cheap tables and chairs that are very uncomfortable. Service was horrible, the waitress rolled her eyes once we asked for something like a napkin or fork. Beer was warm and water was served in cheap plastic cups. If you enjoy ramen or it’s your first time trying it whatever you do not come here!!’

Excellent place to get Japanese food with an awesome vibe. Decor adds to the great food with lots of seating available.
The standouts were the spicy miso ramen, gindara miso, takoyaki and pork yakitori.
