Absolutely loved this restaurant for breakfast. Great atmosphere, incredible food, and right near all the great spots in the Old City. Very fairly priced! I had never been to Quebec or Canada at all until this visit and we INDULGED in our breakfast at this establishment. Very pleased!

Liked the vibes of the restaurant and it was packed on friday night. That could be why the service was a little lacking, from waiting to be seated and waiting to order our food. Our waiter was friendly but seemed distracted. We ordered the set meal which comprise Beef Carpacio which was good, Trout Steak, which was ok but the corn/mashed potatoes were a little too creamy for my taste and the dingue cake which was very sweet and hard texture.

Sure, it’s a chain, but it’s consistent and the menu is varied and the food well prepared. Can’t go wrong inside the city walls.

A hidden gem, so awesome! A fantastic and authentic menu, generous servings, and really great friendly service. Lots of choices even for vegetarians. Highly recommended!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food in this long-established restaurant in the heart of Petit Champlain, Old Quebec.
The dishes were flavorful, generous in portion, and clearly prepared with care and tradition. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a charming old-world feel that fits perfectly with the historic surroundings. Service was attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Good selections of local brews and wines too.
I highly recommend the maple grilled pork chop and their famous pot-en-pot—true comfort food that will warm your soul. A gem worth visiting when in Old Quebec.

Restaurantji Recommends
Visit, Wednesday September 3, 2025, party of six for dinner. Mobility impaired accessible, seasonal patio, no on street parking during summer season. Modern chique interior, lovely sidewalk patio. Soups, Ceasars salad, and steak were excellent. Good menu and beverage selection. Staff were good and items priced moderate.

Absolutely delicious! They were busy but still great service. Friendly to tourists :) amazing flavors - this mushroom pasta and lobster roll was divine. So was the salmon tartar appetizer and the griffintown pitcher!
I went there for brunch with my friends while we were visiting Quebec City on the Labour Day holiday. Delicious food, great portions, and the place is super nice. Service was excellent and staff super friendly. I recommend and definitely would come back.

The food was good but the service was absolutely terrible. The waiter who took our order disappeared and we had to flag down others to ask for basic things like ketchup and a coffee refill multiple times because they wouldn’t come back with them. We also had to go ask for our bill because we waited forever after our meal and no one came by to clear/ask if we wanted anything else: Definitely won’t be going back:
