Everything looks good but tastes okayish. Beautiful street outside and lovely ambience with lots of tourists walking around. We had the caramel latte, hot chocolate, pistachio croissant and an eclair. Server was friendly and welcoming.

Do not recommend this place. The sorbet tastes very artificial and sugary. The service was extremely rude. The staff randomly chose someone from the line to serve while ignoring the customer at the front. When confronted, they didn’t apologize and responded with a poor attitude.

Madame GiGi is a comforting confiserie located in a delightful part of Québec.

The customer service is explicit, the ice-cream is heavenly and they even have indoor seating.

They also sell chocolate that looks like a work of art.

Would definitely recommend.😀👍

For people who only speak English, please don’t visit ❌❌❌
I recently visited this Cafe in Quebec, and unfortunately, our experience was marred by poor service and unacceptable behavior from the staff. My family and I were speaking in English when our server approached us with a scowl, making it clear that we were not speaking French. The staff's attitude was off-putting, and they seemed to take issue with our language.

The service was slow, and when we asked for assistance, the staff appeared reluctant to help. The asian girl who took our order showed really bad behaviour.

Given the importance of providing excellent customer service, regardless of language or cultural background, I was disappointed in the staff's behavior. Quebec is known for its rich culture and hospitality, and I hope that this cafe will take steps to improve its service and staff training.

The most disrespectful staff!!! They thought we don’t speak french and started swearing in french because we told them what they served us wasn’t good. The cookie was hard as a rock and the coffee tasted and looked like water! DO NOT GO THERE! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! There are so many good places in Quebec city! Do not waste your money at this spot!!!

Fabulous small simple deli/bakery/chocolate shop amidst the larger fancy restaurants for the tourists. Excellent service. Awesome sandwiches. Even better chocolate!

Nice ambience on petite champlain however we loved the ice cream bars last year that were dipped in chocolate and covered in crushed peanuts but this year they are terrible. The quality went way down to the point where I only ate half the bar because the chocolate was chewy as though it was filled with wax instead of chocolate. The ice cream tasted like nothing. I won’t be back.
