Overpriced gelato and rude customer service.I asked how many flavours I could choose if I got a small cup. The man behind the counter said that I could choose 2. I chose coffee(cafe) and pistachio. He immediately said, "No, I can't give you the pistachio because it's a premium flavour." If I chose pistachio, I could only choose one flavour. I don't know why I didn't question his statement because if the pistachio is such a "premium" flavour, wouldn't you want to give a half portion versus the entire cup?I didn't think of this reasoning in real time because I was craving gelato so bad and I really wanted to try the pistachio so I asked if I could get the pistachio and coffee if I get the larger cup. He said yes.The "large" cup came out to $10.99 with tax. I started looking around the store to look for the price for the gelato, but the store only has visible prices for their doughuts and churros. That's my mistake for not asking the price in advance, but damn! $11 for 2 small scoops of gelato is not worth it.I think I fell for the tourist trap

It's a place where I was attracted by the smell while passing by. Freshly baked donuts and waffles were so delicious. It's a fantastic taste.

I asked how many flavours I could choose if I got a small cup (there were 2 cup options). The man behind the counter said that I could choose 2. I chose coffee(cafe) and pistachio as one of the flavours and he immediately said, no, I can't give you the pistachio because it's a premium flavour. If I chose pistachio, I could only choose one flavour. I don't know why I didn't question his statement because if the pistachio is such a "premium" flavour, wouldn't you want to give a half portion versus the entire cup?I didn't think of this reasoning in real time because I was craving Gelato so bad and I really wanted to try the pistachio so I asked if I could get the pistachio if I get the larger cup. He said yes.So, I order the larger cup and chose pistachio and cafe (coffee). It came out to $10.99 with tax for my 1 cup of ice cream. I started looking around the store to look for the price for the Gelato, but the store only has prices for their doughuts and churros. That's my mistake for not asking the price in advance, but damn! $11 for 2 small scoops of gelato is not worth it. He also added a little doughnut on top of the Gelato which tasted bland and dry.I think I fell into a tourist trap ?

The flavor of the gelato was good but It tasted old like it had been in the freezer for awhile. Also the gelato wasn't smooth so it was harder it eat as some of the gelato had formed in hard chunks.

Judging by the other reviews, this place was not great about 5 years ago, but it's definitely changed. I'm confident that the only reason this place has 3 stars is that the most recent review is 4 years old. They have a wide variety of interesting gelato and sorbet flavors, most of which I can't speak for, but the raspberry sorbet, mango sorbet, rhubarb gelato, whiskey crème gelato, and chocolate gelato were excellent! We met the owner, who was justifiably proud of his homemade gelato. The texture of the sorbet is smooth, not icy, and the raspberry had actual raspberry pieces in it. Delicious! The sugar cones were also great, and I'm pretty sure they make them there. The service was very quick and friendly as well. This little shop definitely stands apart from the usual tourist fare omnipresent in Old Quebec.

Actual, housemade gelato, with real fruit, housemade cones.......a little hole-in-the-wall shop that far outshines the more corporate shops that occupy this area. We're grateful to have found them!

Nestled in the charming old town of Quebec City, this place serves homemade ice cream / gelato. The place is unpretentious, inside you will find a clean shop, with an array of variety of flavors to try from.Per person gets two samples to taste ( or that is what I was told). The fruit flavors taste like the actual fruit, I tried the coconut and it came with real coconut flakes, that was yum. The other two we tried were orange and raspberry.Good taste but when I checked my credit card statement, was a bit shocked for the price. $16 US is a bit outrageous…probably a billing error but shaving off 1 star for the price.

I never post reviews but this guy had the best damn sour cherry ice cream I’ve had in my life!

Pistachio gelato was good, but not as good as pistachio ice cream from rocky mountain chocolate factory, missing unami flavor in the product.

Gisselle Herrera Galaz

Tastes NOTHING. They say homemade, but tastes just sugar…very disappointing.

Superb mastery of ice cream and everything pastry and cake.Slow fermentation and cooking processes result in extremely high quality products and very easy to digest.Right next door to Divina Natura and close to Simon.
