I was really looking forward to stopping in especially with the upcoming marathon and their run club hosting a group run. You’d think there’d be some energy or excitement around it, but the two people working seemed totally uninterested and dismissive. It felt unwelcoming, so we left. Too bad, because I was ready to grab a coffee and maybe even pick up some gear.

I was in the mood for coffee and thought I’d come to this spot! I love the idea of buying coffee and clothes and shoes! I did buy the shoes here and it is super comfy! Plus, the coffee is great! I love that they had a macadamia milk option! ❤️🔥 can’t wait to come back!

I had an issue with a delivery that was completely out of Faux Mouvement’s control, but Guillaume went above and beyond to help me resolve it. His professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care made all the difference. Even though the order didn’t work out, the customer service was outstanding. Highly recommended.

I was lucky enough to join their run club during my trip and I would highly recommend! They had great routes through different parts of the city. Though I don't speak French, runners will welcoming and the pace was great (approx. 9:50/min miles). If you run, I would highly recommend looking up their Strava group that has more information and times.
Also best espresso and flat white in Quebec City!

I visited the Faux Mouvement café on Sunday afternoon, and the experience was disappointing. The reception was cold, almost contemptuous. We didn't feel welcome.
The coffee was very good, but that in no way justifies this service.
A visit that doesn't make you want to come back, despite the potential of the place! 🙁
