Phenomenal food with a great focus on seafood and creative dishes. Started with their panegroni, probably the best negroni riff I’ve ever had. I then had the fried oysters in buffalo sauce and blue cheese cream to start, followed by the fish of the day; walleye, in a sea urchin crème. Outstanding service, strongly recommend.
Came here for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised – it’s pretty solid overall! The highlight was definitely the omelette, made with sea urchin (uni) sauce that gives it this incredible briny, oceanic depth while keeping the eggs super creamy and soft. And the kind of warm, friendly service.
I enjoyed learning le hobbit - the restaurant has a great vibe, great lighting, nice and warm with a romantic setting. perfect for watching the snowfall outside. the food was great - our table loved the pork, I ordered the duck but they'd ran out so we got offered veal instead.
