Love this restaurant SO MUCH. It's perfect every time, super cute and cozy, and the food is incredible. I love that the menu is simple and limited: they master everything they make so there is no need to overcomplicate things.

So busy, but very similar taste ramen with Japanese. Most wonderful thing is, honestly, we met super lady who operate everything. She can speak Japanese, too.
There is no doubt that she will shine no matter what she does in the future.

I am from Toronto, so I am eating this based on my perspective in comparison to Ramen shops there. I booked a reservation online, which requires you to put your credit card info in order to confirm. Basically, if you don't show up they have the authorization to charge you $20 per person. We were promptly seated 5 mins after our reservation time, which was 8:00pm.
The shop's atmosphere was very trendy and posh. A great place to hang out, have a drink, chill and have a nice evening out with friends or a date.
Service was excellent. The hosts and servers were attentive and friendly. Being from Ontario, they were helpful and spoke English to you.
As for food, I think I am spoiled coming from Toronto who has tons of Ramen shops runned by authentically Japanese owned operators. Presentation is great overall, but the taste slightly lacking the umami that is expected of ramen places that I have tried in Toronto (i.e. Kinton, iiShin, Midori Ramen, etc.)
Nevertheless, I would still recommend this place for those from the 416 area who are in QC and craving ramen. This post is just for you the set your expectations properly.

Staff are very nice and accommodating. Ramen was delicious however I would not recommend anyone to come in the summer as there is no air conditioning and the restaurant is full of people most of the time. I almost fainted. Making all of us very uncomfortable and cannot fully enjoy the food.
The reason they gave us was air conditioning is expensive. Really, I have been to a lot of ramen shop in Asia and North America never heard of this excuse. $21 bowl of ramen and you can’t give your guest a fan or air conditioning???

This is some serious Ramen, the Shoyu broth is clearly the creation of someone who really understands the craft, the noodles were firm, and the chashu was spectacular. Also, you gotta try the canned cocktails, they are fantastic. The place has a cool vibe and a very helpful staff. If I was a local I would eat here weekly, it's that food.

We just wanted to have a good meal before getting some rest after a long day. We didn’t know that Hono Ramen would be perfect for that! I had the shoyu ramen, and my partner had the mazemen — they brought the spicy oil as a side so he could use as much as he wanted. Both meals were spectacular! Also, the seasonal dessert was so good that we ordered one more to share! Love this place!

We stumbled across this spot while wandering around, hungry and indecisive. Originally, we were going to try the izakaya next door, but the menu didn’t excite us… so we pivoted to the ramen spot with the same name right beside it.
The place was packed, which gave us hope — usually a good sign, right? Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the crowd.
I ordered a ramen that ended up being way too salty for my taste. Even my coworker’s ramen was a bit odd in flavor — not bad, just… not great. We also ordered the karaage (fried chicken), which was fine. Nothing memorable.
Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but definitely not a place I’d return to. There are just too many better ramen spots out there to settle for “meh.”

As someone from NYC and as someone who has spent several months in Japan, this ramen was just ok. We got the Shoyu and Miso ramens. The noodles were kind of mushy and the broth didn’t have much depth of flavor. We also got karage - this was pretty good.
Main gripe is service / how long it took to make two ramens and karage - 75 minutes from when we sat down. Ramen is widely considered a fast food as the broth has to have been made earlier in the day already and the noodles just require a quick boil. Karage takes 5 minutes to deep fry. They brought the ramen out after 75 minutes and we had to wait another 10 for the karage. The waitress was apologetic on multiple occasions which was helpful, but there is clearly an issue with service management / timing with this restaurant as a whole.
I would not recommend this place unless you’re just going for a casual bite to hang out or for a date; foodies beware.

The restaurant was quite full for a Monday night. The slushees, though initially I liked the flavours, were too sweet.
Pro: The pork gyoza were absolutely delicious in every way. I would go back for that and a beer with pleasure.
The most impressive thing about the experience was our waitress’s incredible hair.
Other: I got the chicken teriyaki ramen - the chicken did not taste like teriyaki at all and the broth was not agreeable to me. I felt for the price there was not enough going on.
The main issue though is: After waiting for an hour for any of the food to come out, I was taken aback that they would charge for hot sauce to add to the flavourless broth. I test the quality of any restaurant by how dried out my mouth is afterward; and here it was patched, so yes too much salt.
I liked the place and I guess they are understaffed. But I was so annoyed by how long I had been waiting for the food that I did not take pleasure in eating it.
Don’t understand the Michelin rating. Maybe the miso is really good.

Probably the best bowl of ramen I've ever eaten. The Sapporo and yuzu slushie is also incredible, you have to try it.
