I was sitting right in front of the open kitchen and had a chance to see all of the beautiful dishes: maybe I’m easy to impressed but you won’t judge me when you’ll check the pictures 😅
It hard for me to find good dessert because I don’t like too sweet things, but Pear in Wine totally matched my “perfect dessert” standard and left me wanting more ❤️
Some personal notes that are important for me: smell was clean and fresh (I could enjoy parfumes of other guests 🥰), music was nice and relaxing, all stuff was sweet and friendly. I really felt like a super spy enjoying my private time. I guess this place is even more charming if you have a couple or women to impress 😁🔥

Wow, we had cocktails and dinner here last night and everything was fantastic. Selection of cocktails was impressive- many different styles and complex. We sat at the bar and it was a really fun experience to watch them get made. Food wise, highly recommend the butterfish tataki and foie gras torchon. We also ordered oysters (delicious!), mushroom tortellini and poached pear for dessert. All were excellent. Service was 10/10 from start to finish- servers were lovely and attentive.
Would highly recommend and suggest reservations as it got busy really fast!

Don’t miss this place!!! hidden gem in a very touristy city. We missed the entrance twice but luckily we called and the host came outside and waved us down! Speakeasy vibes at the entrance, coat check and great aesthetic inside. Elevated but hip. Some of the best cocktails. Service was great and the food was fresh and flavorful. Vibes were high and a great playlist

We had an exceptional experience at JJacques. The atmosphere felt exclusive and elevated, and the service truly stood out — especially thanks to Nathan. He took the time to walk us through both the food and drink menus with genuine care and enthusiasm, offering thoughtful recommendations that were absolutely on point. Every dish we ordered was outstanding, and thanks to him, we’ve discovered a new favourite cocktail: the Silver Monk.

This place was the highlight of my trip to Quebec City.
The ambience was great; the music, the lighting, the decor.
The cocktails were very good (my husband and I shared three between the two of us), as were the oysters and blinis with gravlax.
The best part of our experience here was our server Nicholas, who took excellent care of us and made my birthday very special.
Highly recommend, and we will be back!
