I completely fell in love with this restaurant. The food was exceptional and the service matched it perfectly. My girlfriend and I were visiting Québec City during the holidays and picked La Bête Bar-Steakhouse randomly—and it turned out to be an incredible choice. The quality of the ingredients really stood out, and everything was cooked to perfection, especially the meat. The flavors were bold, well-balanced, and clearly crafted with care. The atmosphere elevated the whole dining experience and made it ideal for a date night. Every bite lived up to the hype—an easy 10/10. Highly recommended for anyone who truly enjoys great food.

i’ve been to alot of restaurants, but this one is simply it. my boyfriend and i were on a getaway in the city and found this amazing steakhouse, food was amazing, service pristine and we left more than happy. this place is a MUST try.

The space has a cool vibe. We we were a group of 7 for my nephew's 16th birthday. The entrees took almost 90 minutes to arrive, with no interactionwith waitstaff for most of that time. And plates arrived so hot from sitting under a warming lamp that my medium rare steak arrived medium to medium-well. The rest of the entrees clearly sat as well. Apparently they had no more steaks to cook it correctly.The only accomodation was a comped cocktail. Overall, it was highly overrated for the price and quality of meals.

For a fine dining experience I would not say it meets that threshold. No linen table covers, loud music, patrons wearing ball caps, sports on TV, and close tables meaning walking people have to maneuver zig zagiing through the restaurant. Our dinner was cellebrating our 31st anniversary and we brought our wedding candle which they lighted but at the end when our deserts were delivered there was absolutely no mention of an extra favour or anything recognizing our celebration. Just a little disappointing with the whole occasion. The food was good but not outstanding. Service was adequate. We would choose another restaurant our next time here.

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec chaleur et humour par un membre de l’équipe qui a immédiatement inclus ma fille avec quelques blagues — un petit geste qui a mis tout le monde à l’aise.
Tout au long du repas, chaque membre du personnel s’est montré attentionné, souriant, et surtout, on a senti un véritable esprit d’équipe. Ayant moi-même une solide expérience en restauration, je peux dire que c’est rare de voir un service aussi cohérent et humain.
La nourriture était délicieuse et l’ambiance chaleureuse, mais ce sont surtout les attentions envers les enfants et les petits gestes bienveillants qui ont rendu cette soirée inoubliable. Ma plus jeune s’est même endormie en fin de soirée, et le serveur a pris l’initiative de lui improviser un petit lit confortable avec des chaises et une couverture. 🥹
Un immense merci à toute l’équipe pour ce beau moment. Vous avez su créer une atmosphère où l’on se sent réellement pris en charge — avec cœur et professionnalisme. ❤️
