This is a cute shop/quick dining place. The Japanese food tasted authentic. It took a while to come out because they made it to order. There were a ton of Japanese snacks, products and ingredients available for sale too. There are only 8 stools along one side of the wall to eat btw, so best to order to go. I enjoyed my udon soup and the tako balls were nice and mushy. My onigiri was good, the rice was soft, but could have used a hint more vinegar. And make sure to order the yuzu lemonade, it’s so refreshing

I tried sushi here, what can I say? It was brilliant. So delicious, one of the best that I’ve seen at a reasonable price. There were also asian souvenir items available at the shop, but they were a little bit expensive in my humble opinion.
The employees are very nice and the meals generous. I went there on a Wednesday before noon and there weren't many people. The wait was around 10-15 minutes, which I found very quick. I'm going back for sure!!

One of our favorite places in Quebec! Their food is delicious :) everything is good at Ekidon! We particularly love their takoyaki! The staff is kind and welcoming. In addition to the restaurant part, Ekidon is also a small Japanese grocery store with lots of small products from Japan. If you like Japanese food, you won't be disappointed.
