We arrived in Quebec late at night and were looking for a light meal near our hotel, so we decided to stop here. Despite the cold and snowy weather outside, the restaurant felt warm, cozy, and stylish inside.
We didn’t have any drinks and only ordered soup and a salad, but the staff kindly took the time to translate and explain the French menu to us, which we truly appreciated. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful.
I would definitely love to come back again.

That is just the place to go. Authentic, artisanal, but no gourmet gibberish. Just simple dishes made with artisanal care and good ingredients.
Would come here all the time if I lived here

Went to this restaurant with a beautiful girl after a long, cold day. We were looking for some home cooked comfort food and this place was just that. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very neat, you could stay there for hours looking at all of the various items used for decoration. The food was unique yet simple and it made for a nice meal. Unfortunately the service was a little bit slow because the place was busy but the atmosphere and food made up for it. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for something unique and local.

Absolutely perfect food in a fun, quirky setting. Onion soup was spot on. I couldn’t resist taking a few bites before snapping a photo.

We came here our first night in Quebec City with two toddlers during Christmas time. Not only was the atmosphere cozy, fun, and absolutely adorable, but the staff were SO accommodating. They brought over a little bin of toys for the kids and they never wanted to leave.
We ordered the French onion soup (excellent) and grilled cheese for the kids. The decor for Christmas time makes this such a special little treasure.

It’s local French cuisine, we ordered onion soups, pizza. Lasagna, pate pies , cabbage rolls all great taste and reasonable price.

A must while in Quebec City. This place is in my opinion a living artwork : from the food, to the decor and the staff. An anti anti refinement, in your face, delicious balanced and well paired food and wine. An experience to have with all humility.

My wife found the place on Google maps because it was close to our hotel. I'm so happy that she did!
The place is amazing. Our server noticed we were not from around and asked if we spoke English or French and we said we speak English but wanted to try to practice French since we've been taking classes. He was so nice and patient, very cool vibes, and we're so thankful for having had an awesome training wheels experience with him.
All the food and the drink were delicious. He created a cocktail based on a couple likes of ours. For food we had french onion and the dessert was pouding chômeur à l’érable.
Will definately want to come back!

Cool bar with a fun, eclectic vibe. Seemed it was a one woman show when we were in, and she somehow managed to handle both the food and the drinks on her own. Impressive!
Neither my wife or I speak much French unfortunately, but the bartender/cook’s English was good and she was very friendly.
Great spot to checkout as a tourist, but most of the people hanging out seemed like they were regulars/locals.
