A Perfect Morning Start in the Heart of Quebec City!
If you're an early riser exploring Quebec City, La Maison Smith is your ideal breakfast stop. Opening early and located right in the center of town, it’s a blessing for travelers like us who need a quality refuel before a long day of adventures.
The space is surprisingly spacious and inviting—I can easily see why it’s a favorite among freelancers and locals looking to work or socialize in a relaxed setting. We tried the croissant breakfast sandwich, and oh my—it was absolutely delicious! Flaky, buttery, and packed with flavor, it was satisfying yet had us wishing we’d ordered another.
The coffee was smooth and rich, perfectly complementing our meal. The staff were warm and helpful, offering suggestions and serving everything promptly—no long waits even during the morning rush.
Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a cozy work session, La Maison Smith delivers a delightful experience. We’ll definitely be back for that unforgettable croissant sandwich!

Excellent coffee shop. It was recommended by the concierge so we tried it and went back again the next morning along with others in the group we were traveling with.

I don’t know why anyone in Quebec City would pay for a coworking membership when this place exists. It had everything you need to work remotely. There were so many seating options, comfy chairs, and different setups depending on how you like to work. The food was great, and they had a lot of snack and drink options too. The service was super friendly, and the whole vibe made it very easy to focus. Everyone there was working, so you don’t feel out of place at all.
They also have private rooms for companies or bigger groups, and you can book conference rooms for just $25 an hour. We tried the bacon quiche and some coffee, and both were very good. Everything we ordered was tasty and fresh, and we left really happy. Honestly, it’s an ideal spot if you’re working remotely in Quebec City.
The internet speed was soooo high too!

Great place to have coffee in the morning. The outside patio area is very comfortable. The inside- warm and inviting. Double chocolate cake with a latte... Great combo!

Great spot at the base of the Airbnb we stayed at. Busy spot with many university students hanging out and studying/working. Really glad we decided to check it out for a coffee and pastry. The chocolate croissant was buttery, flaky and delicious. The dirty chai was unique and I enjoyed it. Wish we had picked up a few extra croissants for the road.

The croissants were really good. We had an almond and a basic butter croissant. The coffee was okay but the croissants were definitely the highlight of the trip. I’d recommend coming here to get croissants as they’re huge and pretty worth the price
