La Piazzetta St-Joseph

Not what it used to be… the pizza has become very small. Before you could get a 12 or even 16 inch. Now 10 inch is their biggest one and considering it is a very thin crust, it is not enough for someone with an appetite. Also barely any cheese on the pizza. Disappointed because this chain used to be my favorite for over 30 years.

Pizza is far from being the only specialty of this restaurant: the rolls are... rolling on the floor!
The service was attentive, the atmosphere was peaceful.

Parking: There are often (paid) spaces on the street, otherwise you can easily park in the underground parking lot of the Gabrielle-Roy Library, just opposite.

The pizza was very tasty, even if it was a bit strange for me to order prosciutto and have peppers, onions and olives on it and therefore less meat but above all the dough was well made and I can only recommend getting the free one Put chili oil on it.
The atmosphere was pleasant and relatively familiar, also in connection with the friendly service.

Great impromptu dinner, luckily there is still a little room for us! The 2 salmon and lobster tartare is incredible, the portions are generous! Our server was adorable! Thank you for the great experience

Bad for the first time. Dinner before the theater. 40 minutes after our arrival nothing was served yet. Service so slow that you have to eat on the run so as not to miss the show! Unpleasant!!!

I really wanted to like the place, i had big expectations but the reality fell short.
I ordered the Cugina and the description sort of promises a mix of flavours but no taste whatsoever. Not only did it need salt but I still wonder if it actually had any cheese, the chicken did have some flavour but were about 5 only.
About ambiance, there really is not an identity to the restaurant. It is cute and has good lighting but that’s about it.
I don’t know about the other options in the menu, but that pizza is a no and I’m not interested in a second try.
