What a charming restaurant! We knew we'd made the right choice for dinner as soon as we walked in because it smelled delicious and Caesar welcomed us in so warmly. I had pizza - delicious! - and my companions both had pasta, which they loved. We're going to go back before we go home so I can have the pasta and they can try the pizza. Also, we shared the lemon meringue for dessert, and we need to go back for more desserts - there was one in the case with caramel on it that looked decadent.

We had a great experience at La Pizz Place Royale in Old Quebec City. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, especially in the historic area of Place Royale, which makes the dining experience even more enjoyable.
We ordered a Margherita pizza and a vegetarian pizza with feta. Both pizzas were made fresh and tasted very good. The ingredients were flavorful, and the combination of vegetables and feta on the vegetarian pizza was especially delicious.
Overall, the pizzas were fresh, tasty, and satisfying. It’s a great spot to enjoy a good meal while exploring Old Quebec City. 🍕

After 2-3 hours of walking around Old Québec in –30°C weather, we tried at least five restaurants - all completely full. Then we found La Pizz Place Royale, at the perfect moment. We were a group of seven on a Friday night, without a reservation, and they still had space for us - which honestly saved our evening. We were so cold and exhausted that I needed a few minutes just to sit down and recover. The hot tea brought me back to life. Even though we were fasting, the custom pizza we ordered was so good that I ended up ordering another one. The pasta for the kids was also very good, with decent portions. Yes, the price is a bit higher ($20) for an 8-9 inch pizza, but considering the location and quality, it’s completely understandable. Overall, a great experience - warm, welcoming, and exactly what we needed at that moment.

We discovered this restaurant while walking through the streets of Quebec City, and this beautiful little spot caught our attention. The food and service are excellent. There were four of us, and we ordered two pizzas (each pizza is for one person), lasagna, and pasta Bolognese. The food was delicious, the lasagna was super juicy, and the extra bread for $2 was well worth it. For dessert, we ordered tiramisu and shared it between two, and it was also super delicious. I highly recommend it!

This was my first visit to Quebec City, and La Pizz at Place Royale made it truly memorable.
We tried four dishes, chicken lasagna, linguini primavera, chicken pizza, and grilled vegetable pizza. Every dish was spot on. What really stood out was the freshness. The pizzas felt handmade, freshly prepared, and full of flavor.
The taste was comforting and well balanced, with a perfect crust and generous toppings. Everything felt thoughtfully made, and nothing felt rushed or overly heavy.

So glad we happened upon this small pizza shop in the Place Royale. The gentleman working was wonderful to us! As Americans we have gotten a mix of service here but these two were so warm and friendly. The food was excellent! We had three pizzas and a Caprese. I highly recommend the Caprese- the cheese was some of the best I’ve had! Thanks so much for your hospitality! We will definitely be back!!
