Had an awesome dinner here and great service espesially from Uma, beautiful hostess, so kind, friendly and attentive, really recommend this place!! Good price too!! Highly recommend!! for sure!! So happy we found it!!

The hostess was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately our server was quite brusque and difficult to get service from. Some of the other servers seemed much more helpful, so perhaps we were just unlucky that day. They serve pretty good Italian food (if a bit overpriced, presumably based on the location directly on Place Royale). The building is currently undergoing renovation on the exterior, so the views are not quite as good as they could be.

We were traveling with a toddler, which can make mealtimes a bit tricky, but the staff here went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. We ordered pasta to go (which was absolutely delicious!), but when our little one decided she wanted to stay and eat, they happily switched it for dine-in, only for her to change her mind again! The staff handled it all with such patience and understanding. Our waiter, Cesear, was especially polite, helpful, and attentive. The combination of fantastic food and truly wonderful service made our experience memorable. We can’t recommend this restaurant enough, and we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Quebec City.

This is the absolute WORST restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life. My husband, my daughter and I drove all the way from Niagara Ontario, and we decided to come eat here while exploring old Quebec City on our trip. It was very busy. I asked the host at the front of the patio if he spoke English (in French) and he didn’t but he got another server who did - and I was super greatful. They sat us inside (the patio was full) and they literally forgot about us inside. I had to walk up and flag someone down to ask for a simple water. Normally I understand when it’s busy that waiters can’t come right away. We waited over 20 minutes for a simple water. Meanwhile I watched other waiters serve people inside and ignore us. We did end up ordering our food, but the pasta I ordered didn’t come with everything that was stated in the menu. No one came back to ask us how our food was or if we needed more to drink. We finished our meals and waited about 30 more minutes for anyone to come ask us for our bill. We ended up trying to leave - I have never been so disrespected in a restaurant. I wasn’t going to sit around for hours and be ignored. We did end up paying our bill and complaining about the service and the food and no one seemed to care. Will never reccomend this place. What a horrible experience after traveling so far - and a horrible experience of dining in Quebec City which was something I was so excited about! I can’t help but feel like maybe it’s because we didn’t speak French - I truly hope not, because I tried very hard to communicate respectfully initially. Rude. Horrible. Very Overpriced for mediocre pasta.

Server brought out the pasta and tiramisu at the same time, forgot our bread. Had to ask for our bread. Had to ask for the check 2 times, took 25 minutes to get it. In the end some other waiter gave us our check. Waiters are SUPER unprofessional and food is mediocre. Save your money.

They told us to sit, and when we ordered a large pizza, some Bolognese pasta as I remembe, the guy rudely said that each of us had to order something and that this wasn't a picnic spot. I mean, how is a five-year-old or a ten-year-old or even an old lady supposed to order a whole pizza each? This is the story of September 1st week.
The dude was super rude. He should write outside the restaurant. Well, I am not a writer.. today I visited quebec again for some work and remember that incident . FyI , I was only there because of the reviews. When we open restaurants or food hubs, we promise to feed people, and those people are buying, not begging. I am also a businesswoman.. and trust me, i never do that to my client.
