Easily our favourite restaurant during our trip to Quebec City! The menu options were varied and all delicious, but the vibes and service style were what stood out the most. As weird as it seems, the menu is written very simply on a chalk board when you come in, with no explanation of what the dish contains. The host then goes through each dish (in French, then English), explaining the components of the dish while adding in a few funny quips along the way. Really gave it a family-style...
One of the best meals we have had in a long time. Food was delicious. The salmon gravlax w/ gazpacho was amazing. Even better was the service. Great hosts and chefs. We had a blast sitting at the bar. Highly highly recommend!
The crew here is doing something really, really special. The food is fantastic, but more than that, they are invested in making sure their guests have a curated, unique, and unparalleled experience. We are already planning our next trip to Quebec City with them at the center of it.
