We stayed at hotel quebec and the restaurant was called Vague, while they were good the food was awful. The potions were small, the meat looked undercooked, veggies heated but not cooked, you need ro saw thru them and chase them on to the plate. The rice looked like it had been put thru a blender and the chicken stuffed with spinach had NO spinach but stuffed with a black bean mess.
Eat out side the hotel. ANYWHERE but here.

We stayed at L'hôtel Québec for 2 night and this is the restaurant that is on site. Our first night we ordered Filet Mignon, was 45$ for the plate. They meat was really tender and cooked medium rare, it was so good! The plate was also nicely garnished and came with a good variety of veggies.

By far the worst breakfast we've ever had and cost $105 for 2 kids and 2 adults (buffet). My 9 year old son puked right after eating at this restaurant. Absolutely disgusting barely cooked food.

Ridiculous! 1hr to get a bowl of yogurt, french toast, and 2 eggs! We asked for the status, only to get the french toast for my 2yr old daughter. The Boal of yogurt and eggs came 10min later. You are better off going outside to cochon dinde and coming back as it would be faster and a way better dinning and food
experience. There is zero excuse for any of this!

My stars go to the staff only, all very friendly. The lunch plates are way too expensive for what we are served. For a quick-service hotel restaurant, the prices are exaggerated.

Horrible food. Too much grease, the staff isn't so nice. Couldn't eat even half my plate, the rice is absolutely horrible. I do not recommend anyone ever coming here.

I came to the Hôtel Québec for business and didn't want to move around too much. So I had dinner at the 10 Vagues restaurant, a very family-friendly place with lovely decor. On the recommendation of the waitress, I chose a general tao. I was generally satisfied, without being totally overwhelmed: the dish was neither bad nor exceptional, just OK, with instant rice and pre-made general tao chicken, probably frozen. However, I would like to highlight the excellent service offered by the waitress.

First of all you have to understand that it is a family restaurant in a family hotel. When you understand this principle, the fast service and fun atmosphere make much more sense. I go there several times a year (without staying at the hotel) to stretch the children, especially in winter because we are given access to the indoor play areas when we eat at the restaurant. The price of the buffet is very interesting (27 and something?) especially when we start to compare to a table d'hôte in another restaurant, it will often be around $30 and more. The choices are always very varied and frankly after several visits, you always find something you want. Yes, the children's buffet is very fast food but nothing obliges you to serve that to your children, there is always pasta and sauces, a large salad bar (or raw vegetables).

Kid-friendliness: 100% child-friendly
