Our best meal in Quebec by some way. Exemplary modern food, very well presented. The menu is not extensive, choosing to focus on quality instead. Service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was fully booked but we really liked the comfortable seats and small table we got at the bar. Great cocktails too.

We had some pretty wonderful meals during our four days in Quebec, but the best one was at Le Clocher Penche. It was our second time eating here and the food is absolutely superb. Staff is great as well. It is a long-ish walk or a short drive/Uber from Chateau Frontenac, and well worth the trip.

We arrived in Quebec city in the afternoon and were staying in Saint Roche area so we really wanted a walkable restaurant. Luckily we got an early reservation and were the first ones in the restaurant. There were six of us and our waitress was excellent! She took the time to talk about all the items on the menu and make wine and/or cocktail recommendations . Our choices from the menu were all delicious and we walked away saying that the service was just fabulous! It was such a delightful way to be introduced to Quebec City! Keep up the good work!

Very bad experience for the bread - wine - food and service and very $$$$$ you can have better somewhere else in Quebec for less. Cons: nothing extraordinary for the food. Stylish ingredients description but lack of taste. False smiley service. Pros: Nice ambiance, cosy neighborhood, clean, table setting very neat

Delicious food and drinks. Pasta, bread, and gravlax for a late evening snack. Service was exceptional including nice waitress who offered to call us a cab. Delightful!

Really enjoyed a fabulous meal here. Excellent attentive service. Each entree was explained to us in detail. The cannelloni appetizer, fish of the day that was a fabulous cod dish and veal dish were all excellent. Sauces were all so good.....wished we could have licked our plates! Loved the panna cotta dessert with sherbet...was such a wonderful blend of flavours. Tables in the back are quieter and cooler. Reservations are recommended. Street parking is a little challenging to find if you are driving.

Great food, good service, but allowing babies and toddlers into a high end restaurant was not the experience we expected.

We arrived at 7:15 for an 8pm reservation and the hostess sat us early without hesitation. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a neighborhood French bistro—lively and comfortable. The staff were all exceptionally friendly, attentive and informative. Our waitress explained each cocktail, wine, entree and dessert in great detail. I had the most fabulous cocktail that was citrus forward with a licorice undertone. I enjoyed the fish entree and my husband had the pork. After our meal the hostess (who we had chatted with during our meal and heard we were stay at Chateau Frontenac) was kind enough to offer to call us a taxi. The whole experience just made us feel welcome, cared for and satisfied. So glad we ventured outside of the historic area to try this wonderful restaurant.

We had an amazing dinner, great atmosphere and service… Wonderful appetizers, and the entrees were a generous portion. Highly recommend

Recommended by several friends, this is a neighborhood place in Quebec City serving local products elegantly prepared. A warm and cozy space that’s lively but not overly loud. The food is phenomenal and the service is cheery and friendly. We’ll absolutely be back on our next visit.

8:30 reservation. Were seated at 8:15. Service was attentive and pleasant. Bread was good but not outstanding like some reviews say. Had heirloom tomatoes that weren’t. Pork osso bucco with Brussels sprouts, beets, spaghetti squash was very tender and flavorful. Crème brûlée was very good and not overly sweet. After dinner the server asked if we wanted her to call a taxi. We did. Nice touch. I recommend.
