We ordered food for delivery include shahi paner and some naan and it was worst tasting food ever. The curry was flavourless and naan was not fresh. Please do not call it Indian food because it’s not even close to it. As a tourist it suppose to be comfort food for us but instead we had to order from different place. If I could give negative rating i would.

The owner is so arrogant and have no idea about customer service. We came a group of 7 adult and 4 kids and the way the owner behave was no bad just because we seat in other table than we seat first. The entire restaurant was empty but he didnt allowed us to seat in other table than we seat. We wanted to cancel the food we ordered right after we found he is such an arrogant guy but he denied and said still we have to pay if we cancel the order.
What a rubbish owner with a indian come Bangladeshi restaurant.

We came to Québec City for the first time and booked a table here for 6 adults and 6 kids. The manager (name was Salin/Salim) was extremely unwelcoming and rude. He told me in advance that he would charge a minimum of $25 per person regardless of what we ordered. Since we didn’t have much time, I still agreed.
After driving 30 minutes to get there, we arrived to find that he gave us a small sofa and 4 chairs that could seat a maximum of 8 people. When we politely explained that it wouldn’t fit 12 people, his response was simply “squeeze and fit.” When we said we couldn’t, he told us we could just leave. When we said okay, he responded with “perfect.”
I have traveled around the world, and this is the first time I’ve ever been treated this poorly by a restaurant manager. Completely unprofessional, dismissive, and rude.
If I could give zero stars, I would.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this place and would strongly advise others to stay away. I had reserved a table for 12 people, and we drove 30 minutes expecting a good meal. However, upon arrival, they failed to honor the reservation and instead gave us a table meant for six to eight people and expecting all 12 of us to squeeze in. The staff ( I believe name was shalin) was incredibly rude, and when we decided to leave, their response was sarcastic and unwelcoming—far from the hospitality you’d expect. On top of that, the interior was poorly maintained and uninviting. Tourists and locals alike should avoid this place entirely. It’s not worth the time, money, or frustration.Giving 1 star because there is no option giving less than 1 star.

We went there last week close to 9:15pm (almost closing time) and still were taken in. The food was prepared exactly as we requested it to be in terms of spice level, the breads were excellent 😋- we ordered more of the same (Matar Paneer, Veg Jalfrezi and breads) again! The portions were on smaller side but can be easily excused for the taste AND given that it was already closing time. I would go there again when back in city.

My experience was amazingg with the staff, food everything. We order food before 9:30 (when kitchen closes) but we ran out. but this one guy “Salim” made us Dal tadka himself and it is the best thing i have ever had. Such an amazing service 🫶🏻🫶🏻
We loved the food here and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting quebec. The food is flavourful and authentic and the amazing service is just a cherry on top!!!
