Warm, cozy interior perfect for winter, very quiet compared to summer crowds, good comfort food when it’s freezing outside. Easy to get a table, relaxed atmosphere, friendly service. Food is simple but satisfying, ideal stop to escape the cold in Old Québec. Not a luxury experience, but a solid place to eat and warm up when it’s -40°C.

I loved this restaurant, but I'm not sure if I would return due to the warning I will mention at the end. We ordered nachos and pepper fondue as appetizers, and they were delicious and quite generous portions. For our main course, we ordered the special poutine, the chicken burger, the La Dufferin crepe, and the La Saint-Louis crepe, which came with salad and a super delicious sauce. The waitress was super friendly and attentive, and we really loved her service. The only thing that made us uncomfortable was the way the host treated us when we arrived. He was always very rude to us and other customers. The food is divine, and the waiters do an excellent job. I think they should improve the restaurant's first impression.

I highely recommend the maple butter and ice cream crêpe. We had a wonderful evening thanks to the staff!

Food was really a disappointment, for everyone, service was mediocre, place looks rundown and not taking care of, prices were high for what you get in the plates, and they do minimum efforts capitalizing on the location only. Sad because it could really be a nice place with better food and some investments.

The food is good, but be prepared for the service here. My fondu came without the candle being lite. I tried to ask for help from another waiter walking by. Got ignored. Our waiter finally came and I complained about it. The manager came. I complaint about being ignored. He didn’t answer my question and just kept on asking me if I’m ok. I mentioned about that experience again. The manager finally said “if you don’t want to eat here, you can leave.” So before you step in, be prepared for what you may experience.

Nothing good, maybe just a little bit the blue cheese fondue. Not worth it.

Crepe was delicious. Fondue was not good. I’ve had much better fondue in Montreal. Service was lacking.

Pleasantly surprised with this restaurant! I had a quick visit on a very rainy and atmospheric night and was very pleased with the experience and food! Great ambiance inside the restaurant and the servers were friendly and attentive.
The food was delicious, the summer salad (I think was the name?) was massive and probably the biggest and best salad I’ve ever had and at a stellar price! The escargot delicious and the poutine was nicely prepared as well. I had a great time here and highly recommend stopping by!

I have been with my family during my vacation, and we absolutely loved it. The food was very good, I suggest the blue cheese fondue, and the service was exceptional. If you want a nice experience during your time in Québec city, you won't be disappointed at Le Petit Château!

Hard to make a bad burger, but this one was really bad! $30 for an unfresh, dry burger with a cold bun, weird build, and meh meat. Cheese felt like a single IGA slice. Wouldn’t order again most probably!

We took a friend visiting from the Isle of Man for her first fondue and it was great, she absolutely loved it! We had the Trio Fondues (Cheese, Classic Beef and Maple. Every course was delicious and we left very full and satisfied. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Great evening and experience!

We went for the cheese fondue and it was a huge disappointment: lukewarm and almost gummy. Not clear what cheese(s) were being used but definitely not any Gruyère AOP. Try La Grolla or choose a different meal or ville.
Chocolate fondue was a somewhat reconciliatory note.
