Probably the best French Onion soup you can ever imagine to have in Old Quebec City’s narrow streets … fresh, hot, delicious and loaded with cheese to the most appropriate amount .. not too little and not too much, just right to perfection! Very welcoming experience and thoroughly enjoyable and delicious options available in the small cafe. Would strongly recommend this place.

literally the perfect place to stop in Quebec City if you are an introvert. I'm a writer, and every place I travel, I try to find a spot to sit down and work on my novel. Comfy chairs, good food, hot drinks, nice and quiet, I can't praise this place enough. (also, their chocolate crossaints are listed as 'chocolatines', which is huge for me as someone who lived in the south of France 😂 very good too!)

Stopped by for a beer and a platter —had a really pleasant time! Prices were reasonable, the ambiance was cozy and the outside garden is absolutely charming. Staff were friendly. A lovely spot to relax and enjoy

We so wanted to enjoy this meal in the outdoor patio area. We were tremendously disappointed. The quiche was salty with a mealy texture. The hamburger was bland and clearly frozen and came with chips rather than fries.
We walked up to the counter and ordered a glass of wine, a glass of beer and a cheese platter. The beer came quickly, the wine came a little bit later and we did have to wait a while for our cheese platter. The wait felt very Parisian. We both enjoyed the wine and the beer, and the charcuterie platter was delicious with perfect combinations of cheese, fruits, and pickles.

We stopped in here for breakfast. Fantastic food, And authentic local atmosphere. The proprietor was lovely and friendly. In warmer and clearer weather, they have a terrace out back. A gem of an experience in old Quebec City.
