Lovely waitress, Juliette. Engaging, fun, offering cocktails, good wine…really first class. As for the food, potatoes had been left a good while before being served, just heated up, same with the duck. Ribs, much the same, chips not fresh tasting but salad is ok. Nice little place in the heart of old-town Québec City, right the midst of the "tourist-mile". Staff is not overly friendly, but rather aloof. Almost like they take offense to anyone not fluent in French, although we were polite and did our best. The food was good and tasty, but in no way extraordinary. Does hit the spot when you're really hungry and need a break from walking.
I wouldn't go back. The food is way overpriced. We ordered an appetizer ( Dorito chips with naco cheese sauce, and some sauce$28), a bowl of soup($19), and a poutine ($20)with 2 beers it came to $104. The staff was nice, and the vibe was cool.
