The food... whatever you do, do not get the 3 course Entrecôte dinner. Get a different dish.
(1a) the bread was good (1b) the salad has no flavor and the walnuts were stale (1c) the carrot soup was ok (3) the main dish tasted mass-made and mediocre. We asked for medium-rare steak and it was raw. We had to ask 2 more times to make it more well done. After the 1st time it was still raw. After the 2nd time it was very well fried and charred. The fries were sub par. The meat has no seasoning and no flavor. (5) The dessert was good.
Side Note: the salmon rilette appetizer was pretty good
The service was acceptable. Nothing to write home about. Toilet paper missing in one of the bathroom stalls... it was not replaced for 1.5 hours before service and after service.
Dissapointing food. Service ok. Just meh. Would not want to go here again.

I spent the best night of my life at l'entrecôte saint-jean. Laura, Marvin and Eve were very nice and serviable, they made the evening very joyful and lovable. I loved the staff, the drinks, and the food, everything was very demure and mindful. 100% recommend, best place in town!!!

Excellence in meat cooking is simply rare these days, and this establishment has mastered it perfectly. Every bite of the rib-eye steak was tender, juicy and cooked to perfection, exactly as requested. The service is impeccable, with meticulous attention to detail that makes the experience even more enjoyable. The waiters and maitre d' are welcoming, professional, and always available without being intrusive. It’s a place where you feel valued as a customer. An address to highly recommend to all lovers of steak fries and quality service. Well done to the whole team for maintaining these high standards in a sector where this is becoming increasingly rare!

It was my last night in Québec City and I was looking for a good steak. Google directed me to this wonderful restaurant, and it did not disappoint! It was quite crowded (6 PM), and I was seated at the bar. The bartender did a fantastic job taking my order, serving up a good drink and making sure all my needs were met even though he was super busy. The food came out in a timely manner, and I was very satisfied. The chocolate profiteroles were my favorite, along with a good cup of coffee. The prices were very reasonable and I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Service was very slow, waitress attended to other guest who arrived after we did. Entrecôte sauce is poor quality. Wine was served that must have been open for a long time because it smelt awful. Don’t bother with the drink specials, the glasses are very small and not worth the price. No idea how the ratings were higher on this place, we went by that which is what led us here. Definitely will not go back.

Everything about this place is absolutely stellar. From the lighting and ambiance, to the food…it was all next level. Not only is the food delicious, but if you opt in to their steak and fries meal, you get an entire 4 course meal for only $38/person. Incredible!
