Everything was perfect, the service, the atmosphere, the dishes incredibly good. The owner who received us like kings upon entering and throughout dinner, well done to you and your entire team

Excellent food but small portion. Also a small detail, more frustrating and insulting than anything else, we are charged for bread and water without notifying us... we see it on the bill in the end.
For 2 people without extra a bill of $275…. Could you please give us the bread and water…. I felt like a ripped off tourist.

Increasingly rare places. At least once a year we should treat ourselves and visit this kind of place. More than just eye-catching, Michelangelo keeps the great classic restoration alive and well.

Our meal was excellent and very high quality.
I tasted the oyster, carpaccio and beef tartare. Everything was amazing and we will certainly visit this restaurant again.
Ambiance was warm and cozy. Very charming.

The only issue we had was with the service. I'll be specific because most of the staff were polite and smiling. Not sure what happened but we had a super sweet waitress to start and she was moved somewhere else. Unfortunately we all felt the second person assigned at our table was not super interested and much less happy. One of our main courses arrived at least 20 minutes after probably due to miscommunication. Personally this one should have been offered instead they kindly gave us a free dessert.
Hopefully this is a one time event and we were just unlucky.

Excellent meal but ruined by the waitress who when I paid by card and she saw that I left 8 dollars worth of tips and verbally attacked me in a very authoritarian tone telling me it's 20%. I was extra shocked by this verbal aggression for a tip. I am French of Italian origin and I was happy to introduce Italian cuisine to my Canadian friend! I don't know the rules yet and my friend confirmed to me that the tips here were not obligatory but at the discretion of the customer.
I am myself a sommelier in Europe, I know the service and especially the know-how in restaurants.
I take this as a lack of respect for the fact that I am not from here and unacceptable.
I will not return to this restaurant again because of this waitress.
The 2 servers were very very good.

Very beautiful restaurant with an impressive character. Intimate rooms for groups or families. The welcome and service are impeccable. The boss is a caring man who comes to greet and chat with customers at the tables. The dishes are delicious and the wine and cocktail list offers a wide choice. Quite expensive though. Ask to visit the wine cellar, it is simply magnificent. I recommend without a doubt?

A “must” for foodies visiting Quebec City. We loved the seafood platter as an appetizer, especially the scallops. The sweetbreads were tender with scrumptious gravy.

Be sure to emphasize any dietary restrictions (and the severity) in advance.

The owner greeted us and chatted with us about veal.

Worth the trip! Exceedingly highly recommended.

Dietary restrictions: Be sure to emphasize your dietary restrictions, perhaps more than once.

We celebrated our parents' 50th wedding anniversary in the Monia lounge. Annie-Claude was our waitress (very efficient and friendly). Restaurant of exceptional quality in all respects! What can we say about the Caesar salad: the best ever eaten. Nothing less. Superb atmosphere. We will definitely return. Thank you very much for everything.
