Happy to see a good pastries in Quebec City! The desserts look beautiful. Croissants are buttery and crispy. Mile feuille, although excellent, is not a mile feuille and I feel overpriced. I try to stop by when I am in town.
Desserts are slightly more sweet than I would have liked, but this is more of a personal preference.

Giving less stars because the place is disorganized, service is slow, tables are dirty, and we kept getting cut in the line by people...

Patisserie la Chouquette is a truly rare find in Quebec City. Its simple and minimalist decor perfectly highlights the most important aspect: the quality and sophistication of its creations. Each bite is a surprise and explosion of complex flavors. It's clear that the fresh fruits, high-quality chocolates, and the expertise of well-trained chefs cannot be compared to the industrial products of their competitors. If you like fast paced places, to eat in hurry to go somewhere...

Je recommande à 200%! Le gâteau acheté pour les 85 ans de ma tante était sublime esthétiquement et gustativement. Extrêmement moelleux, frais, goûteux. Nous avons reçus une pluie de compliments!!! Une Dame extrêmement gentille avec qui il est facile et simple de faire affaire! Ce fut simplement PARFAIT! merci Rachel. :)
