We don't usually leave comments but what a great discovery! Certainly one of the best restaurants we have been able to try in Quebec…

A starter of gravlax at $18. Tax extra.. they brought me a plate the equivalent of barely a slice because the salmon was all shredded on the plate, but really small with very small cubes of beets equivalent to a slice of beetroot. Normally served with fresh fennel, I had a small piece or part of the half-burnt heart that was not edible. After mentioning it to the waitress and evening manager, nothing was done to resolve the situation, either offer me something else, or simply not charge the dish as self-respecting restaurants do. Nothing, nothing at all... Usually I go there for the boards and it's nice and correct but a big disappointment on the menu. The place is very good, beautiful atmosphere.

We went to dinner on a Saturday evening in November 2023 with a couple of friends (total bill of around $450 plus services for all four). We each ordered a beer as an aperitif, two bottles of wine to accompany the meal and 4 times the 4 courses of "Québec Table Gourmande".**Comment 1: The portions could have been more generous and the price higher ($45/person). We had to order a platter to share because even our partners were still hungry. Plus, the consensus is that it wasn't particularly good. **Comment 2: We had the impression of being a disturbance and that we had to vacate our places quickly. We had barely received our beer as an aperitif when the services began to "tumble" onto the table. Usually I have time to have my beer and I eat my meal with the accompanying wine (the first bottle was for the first two courses and the second for the last two). Despite a request to the waitress to slow down the service, a lady, who must be the owner, brought the dishes in very rapid succession. This was very unpleasant and our experience was negatively affected. I don't think we will return to this restaurant.

We found this little wine bar/restaurant a few blocks from our b and b and we’re so glad we did. Our bartender was highly knowledgeable on Corsican wine and food. An absolute delight!

I had the gnocchi with herbs. This is a wine bar but I wasn’t drinking so I can’t comment on the wines. The flavors were superb. The service was friendly and good. It’s a little pricey for being small plates. Even so, I left satisfied.

Simply excellent!I have been here several times in several years as we come to visit Quebec on a regular basis. PCGC is consistantly a great experience. We love the Corsican and mediterranean flairs in the midst of Canadian winters. Among many dishes, we love the planches, the octopus which is delicious and the imported wine selection which is quite impressive.
