We are visiting Quebec City for a few days and decided to try this restaurant. What a wonderful experience! We had chicken (mine was braised, his was fried) and two different kinds of rice: rice with beans (him), rice with mushrooms (me). SO delicious! We were not disappointed and we highly recommend!

I went there because they had good reviews. But nowhere near what I expected. The lovely picture of the restaurant is definitely touched up as it didn't look that good to me.
Restaurants strive hard to get good ratings. It is a shame that people rated high such a mediocre place.
We ordered a main plate, beans rice and shrimp on the side. The main plated was a roasted chicken leg back attached with fried plantain, fried pork cubes with 3 oz salad with dressing on it and, a dipping sauce for $42 bucks. I don't even think their food cost was $5.00. 11% food cost.. equals big ripoff!
The side dish of garlic shrimp was $19.99. It was like 60-80 count tiny shrimp with tails on in a little dessert nappy bowl. The biggest ripoff I have ever seen.
Now if the decor was nice and the chairs and tables not rickety and the service good not one plate at a time on a children's plastic cafeteria tray I can see maybe why elevated prices
They tried, but they are not restauranteurs and I cannot recommend this place if you enjoy dining and getting good service. Sorry for my curtness but quite disappointing to eat there.

Nice welcome. Glad to have a Haitian restaurant in Quebec. Chose the griot with sticky rice. Too bad everything lacked taste.
