The Pub was EXACTLY what we needed after a long cold day visiting the city & beyond. We were able to be seated immediately, the staff was friendly (and accommodated us in English), and went the extra mile to make sure we could watch the hockey game despite a tech issue, and even went NEXT DOOR! to get the Ranch dressing my daughter has asked for (and said no problem when they didn't have it) for her wings. The gold was delicious - the Fish & Chips was OUTSTANDING and the Sugar Pie was a huge treat. They didn't miss a beat keeping our Guinness filled out making sure we were looked after. Absolutely recommend!

I stopped by this pub just to grab a drink without any expectations, but it was truly amazing—far better than I could have hoped. All the servers were incredibly friendly, and the singer was absolutely fantastic. Thanks to his music, I had a truly happy night.

Very average food at good food prices. Service and music was ok.

The server was rude and applied a 15% tip without asking, which I found unacceptable. I believe tipping should reflect the quality of service, not be decided by the server. That said, I was highly disappointed with the service — but the beer itself was excellent and definitely the highlight of the visit.

French onion soup had good flavour and generous cheese portion, only downside was there was literally 1 piece of onion in the whole bowl. Nice quick stop in the winter for a break from the cold

Tight seating is the atmosphere. Establishment probably wants to 'sardinize' to get more people in rather than giving customers a wee bit of elbow room. Tables are way to small for beverages & entrees so you can forget about putting personal items on the table.

Food was very good. Loved the onion soup. Selection of beers on tap were great.

Service was ok...nothing to rave about but they expect at least a 15% tip st the end. They watch over your shoulder when you key in the tip. Anything less thsn 15% and 'dagger eyes' & smileless face...which I got even with a 12% tip.

Tipping culture in North America has gone from crazy to berserk. And the general public lives with this.

Personally, I would return for the food but not for the service.

Recommended with reservation.
