It was fun and the food was really good. If you want your steak a little more cooked (pink in the middle), you have to be specific or it will be rare.

Very classy spot, right by the Château Frontenac atop the hill. Quiet, discreet atmosphere with a top-notch menu and superlative service. Best of the best.

Upon entering, we were greeted by name and brought to a table they had saved especially for us. The service could not have been better and the food was superb!

Mervieux! Excellent prompt tableside service. One of the best duck dishes I have ever had. The cherries jubilee dessert was fabulous. It is worth returning to Quebec City just to have dinner at this restaurant. Bravo!

Dining at Le Continental is truly an experience. Our waiter, Andrea, made the evening wonderful!! He helped guide us for our choices, slightly entertained us and prepared st our table-side with grand flair. The food was exquisite and we had the best evening!!

If you want a dining experience to remember this is the place to go. Great ambiance with the food flambéed at your table by elegantly dressed waiters with jackets and bow ties. The young man who waited on us was a delight and enhanced our dining experience. The food was excellent and wonderfully presented.

If you want an old school steak house establishment, all make waters, high wood panelling, flames at most tables...well this is the place. Good so.id, service attentive....not cheap but higher end feel...we had a good night and would go back...

This is a real dining experience -- lots of waiters in livery, lots of wood paneling, dishes being prepared at your table -- all the things you want and expect from a classy restaurant. The food was good, though not outstanding -- basically meat and potatoes sorts of things. Lots of flambaed dishes though.

My husband and I had an amazing experience! The food and service was exceptional! We loved how our Caesar salad and filets were cooked for us at our table!

We had a wonderful dinner at let Continental. The restaurant ambiance was outstanding. Our only issue was that we over ordered (completely due to our own lack of restraint!) We ordered chateaubriand for two, after ordering lobster bisque and a Caesar salad. We were each served 4 plentiful slices of beef & each of us could only eat one piece. We hated to waste the rest so we had it packaged up and we left it in the hotel refrigerator for the housekeeper. Be sure to be extremely hungry if you order chateaubriand!!
