We loved our dinner at Le Grand Cafe. Our waitress was attentive and endearing as she tried to remember the right English words for something. And the food was excellent. We especially liked the gnocchi and the pudding for dessert (but plan to share it)

Stumbled on this restaurant while in Quebec City. The food is excellent. The Table D'Hôte offered was so well put together. From Appetizer, homemade soup, and main course selections, you will not be disappointed. Very nice ambiance and the service was excellent! The beef cheeks Entrée and the pear, burrata Appetizer were certainly the Stars! Good wine menu selection as well. I will definitely be returning when in the Quebec City region.

We hosted an industry happy hour here, and everything was fabulous! Christopher and staff were super accommodating, the food was on point and the service was awesome. If you're looking for somewhere to host an evening out, look no further!

Good service. Food was borderline awful. Fries w/o salt. Burger and salmon tartare w/o flavor. Small portion sizes. Then we all felt queasy the rest of the afternoon after lunching here. The overall vibe is absolute minimum in quality, yet maximum price. To avoid.

We chose IL Grande for breakfast, and it turned out to be a great decision. We had the classic breakfast, and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I truly recommend this place

Food was decent but portions were small. Came hungry and had to go eat somewhere else afterwards because the portions seemed closer to what I'm used to seeing my kids get.

Seems like a case of shrinkflation.

Excellent food. The mushrooms in white wine and truffle sauce was exceptional and I generally won't eat mushrooms! Interior atmosphere is bright and inviting, and although we didn't eat outside it was very inviting with the string lighting and fire pots burning.

Got seated with my husband and kids. ALL THE GLASSES AND WINE GLASSES AT THE TABLE WERE FILTHY DIRTY!!! We literally ran out of this place and went to a different restaurant on the street. If they can even have clean dishes imagine the quality of that kitchen. Disgusting. My husband and I have never seen anything like that.
