Service was good, friendly people, atmosphere was fine but the food sucked. It was bland as hell and I bet the chef doesn't know how to cook. It was empty when all other restaurants nearby were crowded and for food reason. If they replace their chef with someone who can cook they can make a lot of money 100%

Recommended dishes: Soup of the Day, Grilled Salmon
The food tasted great, but when I ordered, I pointed to the dish I wanted because I couldn’t pronounce it (wyuigy teak poutine). However, the server brought me a different dish—just a regular poutine. It really was just regular poutine, and it was quite expensive! I feel like I could get the same thing at Smoke’s Poutinerie for a lot less. In my opinion, the higher price wasn’t worth the ambiance of Old Montreal.

If you're looking for a good steak, save your money!
We stayed at Hôtel Sainte-Anne and decided to try this restaurant downstairs. We ordered a Murmur salad, grilled salmon, wagyu poutine, and a filet mignon.
Aside from the grilled salmon, everything else was disappointing. The filet mignon was dry and tasted like cardboard—definitely not what I expect for $60. I left half of it untouched. The chicken in the salad and the wagyu on the poutine were also incredibly dry.
The only redeeming dish was the salmon, thankfully juicy. As for service, our server was unfriendly and didn’t check on us, despite noticing my uneaten steak.
I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they seriously improve their food quality and service.

Stopped here on a hot afternoon in July. We were tired and bumbling American tourists. Just wanted a couple appetizers and soft drinks. Ordered wagyu poutine (!!!!) and duck wings (!!!!!). What a pleasant surprise to find this place.

We waited 52 minutes after our order was taken for food. In that time, the waiter never came back to refill our drinks or check on us.
The steaks were undercooked. Medium rare was raw and medium well was medium rare.

Very tourist trap type of restaurant near the Fairmont. It was a very busy weekend so we decided to have dinner here. I usually checked Google review but I forgot which was a huge regret.
Service was attentive and quick. Menus are very limited and overpriced. I ordered Onion soup and poutine which were both mediocre especially soup was lukewarm and gravy was not hot enough to melt non-generous portion of cheese. My husband had curry cream pasta but it was not flavorful and pasta was overcooked.
The restaurant next door seemed lot busier and my local friends recommended them, so don't get trapped here. Also there are so many more good restaurants if you keep walking.

Super friendly staff with great atmosphere. However, the food wasn't so impressive. especially the fries were not fresh! Could do better with the salad as well
Liked the experience in overall.

Pleasant restaurant, the setting was nice but a little too subdued, we nevertheless ate well although the prices were quite high. It's a decent restaurant but nothing more.

Overall the food quality is acceptable, but one of gentleman, a staff kinda not friendly (too rush, turn back once I finished payment), feels like don’t want talk with me, just little bit weird. Make me feel uncomfortable when I walk out to the restaurant.
Honestly I just have a quick meal and didn’t ask for other extra service, as a customer I would say the service is not a regular asking “ how r u “ or”is everything ok?”. It should make customer feel comfortable, customer can feel everything, even a tone and a glance.
