I was traveling in Quebec and happened to visit a restaurant. I don’t speak French, but the owner kindly brought me both an English menu and a picture menu, helping me choose the best dishes. Every dish was perfect, and my whole family was delighted. The iced water we were served on that hot day was refreshing and delicious, and we could feel the owner’s thoughtful attention to detail. For dessert, we were served coffee and tea, which made for a wonderful final memory of our trip. The owner was so kind, and the food was absolutely delicious. If I visit Quebec again, I will definitely come back here. I highly recommend this restaurant as a must-visit spot when traveling in Quebec.

A nice place to experience the delicious flavors of some Thai and Vietnamese dishes, the dishes are very complete and the flavor is very homely, there are individual portions and combos to share

Excellent value for money!
Second time dining there and always delicious. The table d’hôte is really affordable!
Incredible carry chicken in the photo!
The food was good, but the service was lousy. When I mentioned the problem to the waiter, he said he did what he wanted. I pointed out to him that he risked losing customers, he said it didn't bother him. So, I too do what I want and I don't mind not going back to this restaurant again. There is no shortage of good restaurants in Quebec.

Since I’ve moved into Quebec from Montreal, I’ve been struggling to find a decent family owned Asian restaurant. So when I found the Mai Lan I was pleasantly surprised and the service was excellent. Our host/waiter/owner was very respectful and helpful. The food was almost on par with what my mom used to make back home. They take good care of the taste of their food and it shows. The aesthetics are decent but you’re really there to eat and not to look at the walls. I enjoyed my meal there and we’re definitely going back.

He requires us to pay a 15% tip we cannot choose the amount we want to leave while they are not able to have a smile. No drinks for those who drink 7up zero or spite zero. Usually in other restaurants you can choose the amount of the tip and the minimum is 12%. I've never seen other restaurants charge a specific amount for tipping. This is meant to be a suggestion and not a requirement.

Excellent food!! The best restaurant we have eaten at so far in Canada! In the combination you get a soup, an egg roll and a main course, all of which were simply excellent. We ate as a couple with four children and took 2 combinations. The children licked their fingers! And us too!
